Ahh, finally perfected. Now it's time for criticism:
There is one detail in this game (specially level 14) which keeps pissing off, to an extent where I actually hear myself cursing out loud - the random wave spawn. Example: A wave consisting of 4 enemies - 3 spawn from one direction and 1 the other.
Some may say "But doesn't that just add variation to the game?" and my answer would be "Yes - it does add variation", however, this variation means that if I place two towers, one at each entrance, and the enemies spawn at one of them, it can mean that I will have to restart the level. Without exaggerating I would say that I've replayed level 14 around 100 times - yes, a bloody ****ing 100 times. It was not before I had my profile level 27, that I managed to complete this level (brilliant rating). Some of the waves are tough and it makes it even more tough if all the enemies chose to spawn from only 1 location, than the actual 2 possible.
Somebody must've felt the same way?
The problem with this game is, in my opinion, the slow movement speed. It really killed it for me. I found myself spamming the spacebutton just to get along faster. The plot and idea, however, is awesome :)
21871 - finally! Seriously... The key to winnin this game is being lucky. Your skills might be enough till 14000-15000 - from there on, you just have to be lucky enough to have some sticky sticky "others" :)
As I was reaching 17000 and beyong I was all liek: concentrate... CONCENTRATE!!!!! 17500 ... YES YES! YEEEEES! FINALLY! COME ON! 17750...AAAAAAAWRHJ! IT'S GONNA HAPPEN! And then it happened... 17933... Blam... This is probably my game number 130... I was so pissed... Sigh..
AAAAAAAAAAAARGH! LVL 2 IS THE MOST ANNOYING LEVEL EVER!!!! AAAAAAARGH...
You have to press just the correct moment and if you dont, well then you are stuck on lvl 2 just like me.. It's driving me nuts...
Maxzee, by examining the doll, you would find out that it contains a battery.
Good game, but some of the item combinations are too weird. I mean - a Buddha statue and a steel bar = Crowbar? wtf?
As many others think -> BAD AI - both the ants and the towers. They should focus on ants with cake.
And the tower upgrades are too expensive... So all in all, a boring game.
Quite an easy game.
1 laser, 1 push back cannon, and something random.
Just upgrade the laser and you'll eventually kill what need be killed.. easy game xd
I don't think this is stolen - I've never seen it before. Ofc, the idea is "stolen", but that's because TD is a gender of games now.
So I wouldn't judge him. Anyway, not that fun, and pretty repetitive.

I always thought i sucked at multitasking.
I kinda just kept the 4th box wither top or bot, the 3rd was the one i concentrated most on. Just keep an eye on the second, and the first should be noted along witht he 2nd xD
It took me till almost the end, to realize the upgrades weren't put on automaticly. I thought they were just buffs I would get, made on behalf of how I'd played the node before xD
Anyways.. Just upgrade reproduktion and speed/strength... That way you can win at an extreme tempo :)
I agree with JohnnyGeek.
It's not a game judged on the entertainment level, but judged on the atmosphere and animation - which is, as earlier stated; stunning!

You're right that some of the elements from the myth is included in the game, and I think you're right that the author had this in mind.
But for the game to be based on a myth, wouldn't it have to include all important elements?
He fights the damned creatures, instead of seducing them with his enchanting music :)
