End zombie of the first map, the 'Devastator', is aptly named. It ends my game every time. Typically because I had to waste a ton of money rebuilding from the Bloater waves that wrecked my defenses and so wasn't up for that uber-zombie.
I have yet to have an issue with graveyards full of asteroid fields. I have too much trouble keeping all my planets from seceding and attacking me. When all your colonies have conquered all your other colonies and you're getting NO biomass, it's impossible to take back anything.
Notes move faster than the tower's shots. It's a problem because the game still registers loss of life if a 'dead' enemy gets to the end. The graphics are horrible, far worse than I would expect from a Unity game. Feels like the only reason for the game is to get people to listen to the music.
I'm giving this 1/5. It's a cheap knock off of Space Game.
You can't redo levels for more upgrade points.
The required 'Survive 15 minutes' mission is way too tough with the few upgrades you can get.
View movement is clunky. I have to fight enemies, I don't need to fight my screen too.
Some enemies seem to be able to ignore all the defenses specifically to blow up my connecting nodes. Nothing can stop them and you end up spending useless minutes replacing relays, only to have them wipe it all out again before you've finished.
Played it for a bit. horrible graphics, no upgrades or selling of towers, no sound.. and you have to sign up for another site to play it on here. 1/5 for a terrible game.
it seems like the upgrades actually improve the enemy, not your own units. I replayed level 1 a few times after increasing spawn rate, not only did I see no benefit, the enemy was spawning much faster than the last time I played it. 1/5 for a craptastic game that -had- so much promise.
too many enemies hit hard enough to insta-kill regardless of what you can do. Also, having enemies that powerful when you're all alone, with no tactical movement possible... bad design.
Game refuses to work for me. I get an opening screen, then it changes to grey, except or the title "Contract Wars" at the top, with the privacy policy link. Nothing else.
I had rated this 5/5 cause it's an awesome game, then I hit the mission 'Experiment" and cannot, cannot, beat it for anything. I simply cannot move fast enough to save all the pods. Nothing I can do can get to them all before the creep wipes one out. So I downrated to 3/5 for the abusively tough mission.
Far too easy except in one regard. There is no way to tell which of the castles is yours. They all look exactly the same. This doesn't make the game any harder, it's just insanely frustrating. I have to lower ratings just for that.
You dont need a greenfoot account to play it! you can play without one! Thanks, Ryan
