LVL 13 - where the game became 3 star and I stopped playing. Concept is cool, control system is horrid and given the control system level 13 is just, well, plain not fun.
Either have checkpoints or have some indicator that lets you have some clue how close you are to stalling out. And as a rule, every single player game should ALWAYS have a pause.
when developing a game like this with multiple character types, you should not create a situation in which one of more of those character types becomes completely worthless, and just b/c you have an option of resetting your talents does not excuse this. There is no possible way to get by the 4 shadow stalkers to get the 3rd piece of armor as primarily a mage. 1/5
it would be a much cooler if the game window was about 4x as big so you could see the whole bubble you are in. I find I spend most of the time blindly firing at stuff off the screen.
More than anything the 3000000 badge requires luck, once you are maxed out if you are a good shot, you can easily do the distance, you just end up impaling yourself on a floating spike or being abducted first
definitely not up to par with other Ben Olding games. Ships should have both an attack/move & a move option. Moving the mouse to the edge of the screen should scroll it. And everything should have a hotkey.
Cool game, but you really need to fix the bugs. The Prometheus thing is just absurd, and I also found a bug where sometimes you buy an item and it gives an error about being unable to remove an item. The problem is that the item you wanted is no longer available for sale. And with the way you did the saves that means you have to redo the last mission.
wickedly repetitive. It really should have just been a single level to see how far you could get, b/c each new level is exactly the same as the previous except that the number of days is greater and the target is higher.
I finally got past lvl 58. Slow time, lightning, and short shield worked for me. it was still just a bit silly. I did not feel that it was a skillful victory but rather more of a stroke of good luck. The level would have been much better if it had say 3 bays launching the fast ones, that way you could try and destroy the bays. as it was, 95% luck.
