The first boss can be beaten by first awakening it then running to the left side of the arena where there is a spike ball on the ground with a shield vertically on top of it. Just deactivate the shield with one shot, jump behind the spike ball, placing it between you and the boss. Then turn round and face the boss, you might lose ONE life here, and just spam S to jump and D to fire. Easiest way to take down the first boss, cause he cannot hit you at all. Upgrade your speed to level 4 first by grinding on the first 2 levels. Then max out your bullets by grinding on level 5, focusing on destroying all your enemies and making sure you don't take damage. Keep this up for a few rounds to earn enough cash to max out all bullet upgrades. This allows you to grind level 5 by simply leaving your ship in the bottom centre part of the screen. Destroying everything will earn about $16435, WHICH IS DOUBLED IF YOU DON'T TAKE DAMAGE AT ALL, giving you about $32000 per round. Use this cash to unlock other weapons etc. Click + to keep this up.
