Just buy Artillery and Golden Nail to be sure to have enough money. ;) Better fire/water won't help you much anyways.
Too much luck involved. I used DEFKID2's strategy and lacked about 1000. I was supposed to get only like 6000 money on the last 11st day, but suddenly no monsters came and I got just 5000. >__<
