I really liked this art style! I hate that you need sound :( Also, if there could be a way to mass apply all the stripes and all the worms rather dragging one at a time, that would be super helpful! I need an entire game of this, ominous crows, aliens, demons, and a happy cow. Love it :)
That mass dragging of object instances could be interesting to make.:) Thanks for playing and the feedback! There are visual puzzle-clues for the dice but I guess they are hard to find.:)
Small bug, **SPOILERS** if you go to the mansion and get the Love Letter BEFORE talking to the banker/Salesman about football, Gavin won't have the dialog for football. I played it through three times, first two on my own, third I used the walkthrough on facebook and I think the order of operation is important. Maybe make the mansion available only after you get a deed from the salesman?
GREAT game otherwise. I'm already foaming with theories about what the underlining story is that connects all the games!!
[SPOILER] That's weird, because obviously that's not supposed to happen... and I just tested it, and it does work fine for me. I get the letter first, then translate it with Gulp, then I go to the bank and talk to the banker about Gibberish, then I distract him with Ghvnn and football, everything with no problem whatsoever! Maybe can you send me a PM with more specifics about the time this bug occured to you? Thank you for your feedback and your compliments!
I really liked this game. I got confused on the first part (only because I'm terrible at directions) so I made a map. The story had me involved and wanting to see it through. I felt that Stephanie's character was too...thin? All the punctuation marks made her seem fake. The only part of the game that I absolutely couldn't stand was the breaking of the fourth wall. Many games can do it successfully and sure, one hint every now and again, but I felt removed from the game after talking to the author. I felt like I was playing a game rather being submersed into a new world (I was willing to go for the pool and the mine bit). I still love this game and will watch for more to come!
Yeah, it's kind of strange- Steph started off as a joke character, but then I found she could be useful as part of the main plot. The author appearance was never going to be to everyone's tastes- probably won't do that again! Thanks for your thoughtful feedback :)
I need a badge for clearing the entire map. It needs to be like a "bad ending" where utopia falls into the earth and the robot makes all the people his slave. :)
Great game. The translation was a little fuzzy but still very understandable. I only wish I had more explanation as to why this random old dude wanted to kill the girls.
Other than a few pixel hunting spots because the game is too dark (Stick and hammer), and the terrible cliche jokes and extreme stereotypes, not a bad game.
Also, what pay phone ONLY takes credit cards?
