Part two: B. The m button doesn't seem ... optimized? Not sure if that's the right word for this but in my case holding down the m button is really laggy, my game freezes and I have to wait minutes for a response depending on how long I hold the button. I don't know if this would work better on github but hopefully it is something you can look into as that was one of my biggest hells, I could not hold it down and had to tap it constantly and I would hate for others to experience that hell
So the way that max all works is it just activates a loop that buys everything 1000 times. At first I thought that might be the problem, but you didn't mention that autobuyers lagged, and they work the exact same way. So I'm not really sure why it lags when you hold M.
Two part comment: So the game definitely seems to have a lot of content, especially from what I gleamed from the comments but I have two major issues, A. This game requires way too much activity to begin with. Even getting somewhat into expansion it takes a while to unlock automation. I finally have generator auto-buyer which solves my next problem I'm going to go over but now I do not feel compelled to work on getting expansion points. It's a tedious task that takes a ton of effort to finally get to a point where it becomes worth it or to finally automate that as well. Automation should be one of your first objectives not your last **especially** in idle games.
This problem occurs when the game is in a small enough window. But this is only a visual bug. I'm not sure I can fix it. It depends more on the engine I use
So max cook seems kind of useless. Its cheap so I can buy multiple before buying min cook, but whats the point of wasting my points on it if min cook just closes that gap? Imo max cook should always keep its use and not lose it when I purchase min cook. I.E. rn as a new player if they bought max cook it would be possible to 1-2. Then if they bought min cook it'd be 2-2. Thing is if they just buy min cook then its 2-2 without spending points on max cook.
For prestige upgrades it'd be great if you could include the levels on the actual upgrade itself perhaps in brackets like [+1] and make it purple to give indication it means the prestige upgrade
It seems that the amount of prestige currency I gain is based on the amount of merges/level of the merges that happen every prestige. This isn't very sure howerver and I would recommend including it in the Help section of the game so people are more clear on where it comes from.
The last issue that I know of is still to do with the information popup, sometimes it disappears while I'm hovering over something? typically whenever I get a new resource, this gets very frustrating as it seems to also like to not always show up when I hover over it. Get these issues fixed and I think you're all good for releasing new content! I'd definitely love to see more if you're up to the task :)
Alright, so I read your reddit post, came to check out the game. I like the concept, it is like a lot of other games out there but it definitely looks like you took the idea and made it your own rather than copying how they do things. I would love to see more past drone automation, however I think you should work on a few issues before you think about releasing new content. A few of them are how are you going to add new resources and new actions etc, the list is already pretty full and people hate it when they need to scroll, another issue is that when it gets too far down on the screen I cant see everything I need to see, it simply goes off screen. Theres 2 ways to fix this, one make it recognize when its near the bottom of the screen etc and have the bubble pop up above instead of below the icon, or two create a better way of seeing what something does, like more details etc.
Is there a way to keep the rift open but where we can't buy upgrades? (Not like we could anyway without getting at least 5 magical balls!) It's very annoying not being able to plan ahead about what I want next etc
We can get idle bucks now at a decent rate, yay! ... however upon getting this amazing gift, we also quickly realize how useless some buffs are etc. I.E. I would never spend 3 idle bucks on critter clicker, one number rising, and death note, and I def wouldn't spend 6 idle bucks on bunnyfarmville. 30 clicking levels does nothing for me, I get that within the first 5 minutes of playing meaning its absolutely useless since it still increases the price, 30% decrease in an attribute cost is OK but it bothers me too much that it would only be that stat and would completely throw off my math. 30% off to **unlock games** is even worse, it helps in later games but again it only affects one type of game limiting its usefulness very quickly. Bunnyfarmville is 100% useless, all of my games basically end up level 6 instantly as soon as I unlock them and put a screen on them anyway, why would I spend a whopping 6 idle bucks for that? Great ideas just poor execution :P
A warning that you dont have any games before you spin would be nice, spun 4 tier 2s and got +0 idle gold for each one ;-; Wasn't thinking about it when I did it and I couldn't cancel it Dx, or some kind of compensation such as +10 gold or something :shrug:
Yeah nvm I definitely missed something, I thought the gold per second was turning the currency into gold, the currency is only used to level up. Levelling up increases gold per sec from that game :thinking:
Hmm I don't know if I'm missing anything here or not, but just incase, it'd be nice to see the currency -> idle coins rate for math purposes :thinking:
