I normally only get motion sick from FPSs. This game is obviously not an FPS, but I feel like I get motion sick the same way in this game. How strange. Is it the fact that you have to regularly scroll your view, something that acts as sort of an analog to mouselook?
Is it just me, but once you see the trick to Valor, it's not very hard at all. You can defeat the enemy without even using any of the reinforcement resources.
Is it just me, or does it seem like fishing harbors with schooners are about as efficient as fishieries with small boats? I mean, I guess I can put 11 in a harbor as opposed to 8 in the fishery, but it seems like there should be a bit more of an efficiency increase than that. It's not like you would need to build more than one of either to support a pretty large population.
How are the job and housing choices made? Like, I click on a bunch of job sites next to houses, and it seems like it's never the case that the workers at the job site come from the nearest houses, instead choosing houses from further away.
Somewhat like in real life. When someone is looking for a job, they prefer closest (highest importance) job to their house.
But it is never optimal, as they don't do these decisions as collective, but rather person by person hence if someone dies and one job opens, somewhat random person will take this job now.
There is a way to fire everyone and then hire back, it will creates quite optimal structure shorterm, but kinda annoying to do (on purpose) and it is not that important anyway :P
On second thought, it seems like markets do get water from water pipes. It seems like it's harder to see because depending on where they are, they can handle a lot of water, so they probably need to be both pretty active and pretty close to the pump.
Does sending water pipes to animal barns work? Since the input and output icons are now hidden below the bottom of the page, I can't tell if water is actually being piped there.
My fabrics research is not working. It is grayed out on any research buildings that has access to fabric. It says that no researches or upgrades require it, but that's not the case, my upgrades are nowhere near maxed out.
I honestly think that the best gun in this game overall is a green or higher P90 that you upgrade fire rate to 30 in workshop. Very high fire rate and DPS, big ammo capacity and infinite ammo reloads.
Like, the UMP and the P90 can have DPS numbers that are close to each other, but in game, the faster firing P90 always seems to have much higher DPS in actuality. It doesn't seem like the game knows how to calculate its own numbers.
That's true, it takes a lot of meta-knowledge of the game to pull of a low loop count win. I'm not certain I would do super well at that.
