I think when the ball goes through the wall, it's a metaphor for how we shouldn't always be held back by the "walls" that other people impose on us in how they expect us to act.
I had a small ship that shot a spread of 3 fast bullets, then it upgraded into a big ship that shot a regular bullet and one giant slow bullet... Hooray?
Pretty fun if you like this sort of game. Understanding of some major gameplay elements eludes me. What exactly is the math behind determining combat results? How does the game determine the order in which players' commands are carried out?
Also, the UI needs serious work. I shouldn't have to zoom out to move troops from Alaska to Kamchatka. When I dispatch a new army, a number box appears and blocks the surrounding territories so that I can't see or click on them. When the command dialogue pops up, usually half of it is off the screen and I have to drag it into place.
