Note: In response to my first comment, that particular strategy must be done done when it is a turn when you have the first move--otherwise you must simply try to tie with the AI, and, I have had games in which the AI has had games in which it doesn't fluke, so you may have to play 2-3ish games(not just rounds) and wait for it to place its circle in the lower left region after your second turn when you place the X in the bottom right region.
It is possible to beat the AI on hard if on your first turn you place your X in the upper middle region with your second turn in the bottom right region, and the AI will make a fluke during one of the six rounds, and leave the upper right region free to place an X, which will give you two spots to get 3 in a row. You have to tie on all the other rounds as the AI has yet to make a two flukes like this in a single game for me albeit I haven't played it nearly long enough to see if it will occur multiple times.
I definitely enjoy the changes that have been made, and I may actually try using the shotgun now(I never used it before), and the resurrect is definitely working better, but is it supposed to activate upon death because now it is activating at ~10% hp, but it is refilling my health every time, so that is a huge plus. I was able to increased my score by almost 4 fold due to the change with the points per kill, so there may still need to be balancing; then again, I am definitely not a developer, so do what you think is best and nice work :D.
In response to the resurrect issue, I specifically jumped off the ledge three times to bring me to ~25% hp and let the wave 1 & 2 creatures hit me for control, and, sure enough, it consistently used my resurrect at the 107 hp mark (I have 500 hp). And thank you for looking into it. It is rather lovely to see developers actively seeking out suggestions/bugs from the masses. Also, the second jump isn't really a big hindrance, but it isn't too much either, and I am happy to hear the scoring will be changed; in my own personal opinion, I just like to see the bulk of my points from actually killing things rather than receiving mass bonuses in points in juxtaposition to points per kill, but others may like otherwise :D.
Oh, and I am not sure if the resurrect upgrade is working as intended as it uses it when I am at about 20% health rather than when I die, and it doesn't refill my health either at that point, so it is seemingly pointless unless I fall off into the void between about 21-25% hp. (*SPOILER ALERT*) However, I just killed The Warden, and it was a rather fun fight for me, so I'd like to see other bosses or mini-bosses, unless there are, and I haven't gotten there yet...
Hey, thanks for this huge feedback!
Resurrection should work. Maybe something hit you for 20%? After resurrection you should be fully healed. We will look into this.
There is no more bosses unfortunately, but we may add one or two minibosses ;)
My couple of suggestions would be to scale the points you get for killing things a bit higher because it appears as though the only meaningful amount of points I get come from spamming the next wave as early as possible, and perhaps you could adjust the second jump in the "double jump" upgrade to make it jump a bit higher to make it a little more useful rather than about a 1 tile high flip. On an entirely unrelated note, I really like how the tiles change as you get through the tiers. I didn't even notice that until breaking through like 20 levels, but I really like it.
We improve scoring system in next update.
Jumping is really tricky. It's not perfect, but I don't know if we can improve that. We will try!
Thanks again! If you have any suggestion, please, let us know!
Fixed.
