To kill the manager in practice mode, grab an auto-12 gun and walk to the manager. Point the gun at the manager's head, and fire non-stop. Don't move or try to dodge his bullets.
Oh and the white orb from grotious, touch it and get some ice resistance, the one from you brother, dark resistance, the one for helping the old darkling, light resistance.

How to land the ship: Have any long side of your ship next the the tip of the dock and don't move, it'll ask you if you wanna get off, get off.
Loading takes a long time? Yea right, maybe due to server overload or to many people playing or just a slow connection.
Ok, here is a guideline/walkthrough for people having trouble with mission 5 part 2. It is a spoiler!
So, there are 6 rooms in this mission. Go through each one of them until the last one. There you'll see a big "button", note what colour it is, then go back and by standing on/next to similar buttons on the floor click on them and change them to the same colour as the big button in room 6. Then return back to the room with the closed doors in the caves-- they'll be open (the room before the bridge battle/mission 5 part 1).
Actually, easiest was to get badge is boards enemy ship and well boarding fire at it to take down some extra sailors, then when you finished the level, use all your gold on crew.
Remember, the challenge is for gold you EARN, not save.
Wish you could save between mine maze and cezrak killing, other than that, great game! Also everyone, if you don't think your ready to take down cedrak, just get money by going to the mechanics base.
