for 14 send a tentacle to the first neutral and cut it as soon as it attaches, do that 2 or 3 more times and when it's so low it won't be able to connect again just leave it. while you're doing that as soon as the second one is captured repeat the process to capture the third cell, it should take 2 tentacles to capture, from there just back up your only other cell and attack one of the other cells, cut one tentacle and you should be able to capture a red cell
actually, cut the tentacles immediately to grab the new cells, put one tentacle from the third cell on the close red cell, connect the rest of your cells while also contending for the big cell till you capture one of the reds
for zone 10 grab the cell right in front of you, don't cut the tentacle, when you claim that one start fighting for the next small neutral, only cut if you can keep your second cell upgraded when the second cell gets a second tentacle put it on the big neutral to buy time, when you claim the third cell start taking over the small red next to it, any NEW tentacles should go to the big one, once you capture the small red cell it's child's play
maybe it's my imagination but it seems the targets are still shown as active for a few moments after red picks them even though not available, a bit troublesome
