your stopping the player if his _y is less than 0 or greater than 400 (and simmilar with _x), since that point is the mid point, put a 20 pixel or so cussion so that you cant go partialy out of screen
for example: if (ship._x < 20) instead of if (ship._x < 0)
there are so many problems its barely playable. every mission is only 2 kills, theres only 10 missions (all the same), even with 10% acuracy and repel you can get well over S rank, no shop, leveling up has no benefits, no skills, your character is a poorly drawn stickman...
Nah, its still not ready to be realeased. only enemy right now is snail, there are still some bugs and unfinished things. maybe a ew weeks from now. Its going to be at http://hunterstory3.webs.com im not putting it on kong, since it doesnt seem right to get ad-rev from someone else's idea.
meh, i stopped playing after my first ascention, and started working on my own version of HS in flash... importing the sprites takes ~5-10 minutes per enemy tho >.>
I would'nt try it haydes, get soem experience first, make a png game or 2, maybe a TD, a platformer, etc. onse you know enough flash that you wont have to ask someone a question every 2 minutes, then make a better HS. start easy and build up.
oh, and haydes, its not as easy as you think. thers no way oyu could make a beter game as your first try unless your some kinda progidy. Check out flowsion.net/forums, go to hunterstory and search for the threas "1.27 source", you can DL the source code for HS there (although it wont work for me >.>)
i could have made the tracer run through isntantaneously, but i was a noob back when i made that part (like my 3rd day as a programmer), and i find it amusing.
@ nev, the "tower not working" bug occurs wiht laser towers. im not sure why, but the tower is working, just not showing the animation.
@ surrender, never engcountered that before... hmmm. @ welcome actually, durring that impatinece maximizing time, a "tracer creep" is running through the map, and calculating the path for the creeps to follow, so i dont have to recalculate it for every creep.
