lots wrong here. as everyone says, upgrades for gun are nonexistent, boring. having a bomb that can kill you need four shots to kill it (just for it alone) is just silly. having to hit 1,2,3 for abilities on a WASD game is terrible (you have to take your finger way off movement to use any of them). not having different types of guns on this type of shooter is baffling.
fun game, not too much grind. End's a bit too easy (think guys were only half maxed when I beat it), and you don't keep the $ you make after you beat it. Also, having all the monsters worth the same amount of money was strange -- tougher stuff should be worth more, I think. but still good fun 4/5
excellent, excellent game. Two quibbles: 1.) too short. 2.) unclear what some upgrades do. Faster reload and respawn and aim time I get, but then what's faster recovery? 10 percent to guard points I assume means... health?
Great game. A few thoughts: armor didn't seem to work, so that took care of the $ problem (no need to buy helmets or armor slots). Had $115K unspent when I ended, without replaying levels). Don't need armor with the health buff, though. Would be nice to have a higher tier hand-to-hand weapon, not just hammer, for a close combat specialist. Ended game with three guys with assault rifles, one with sniper, all with boots and health buff, and nothing else. One guy had the tool that opens doors/disarms mines, and a few grenades scattered in. Everything else seems worthless (having less than 9 AP, where you can fire 3 times, is a problem)
also, no point in having a fire button, when the ammo is based on a time limit and not number of shots. might as well just hold down fire all the time.
Like the game. Not usually a fan of driving genre. My one complaint is that if you want RP's, you're encouraged to go slow and just shoot zombies, rather than fast. And since it is a driving game, kinda counter-intuitive.
Might be better to give RPs for long stretches at high speeds, avoiding obstacles, etc., instead of just achievements and shooting zombies.
You get rp for distance covered, so actually the faster and further + more rp you get. Running over zombies along the way will give you even more. Blowing up mines and stuff gives lots of rp too. On the flip side, stopping to rescue a civy will give a lot of rp but slows you down. Just stopping and farming zombies really isn't needed.
very good game. Main gripe is that you can't see the elemental resists of the enemies on the map, even when you click on them. I don't feel like memorizing the monster encyclopedia; i've got better things to clutter my head with.
waaay too grindy, no skill involved. Not about being lazy, it's about spending my time doing something fun, or boring. Playing a game isn't supposed to be work.
