I don't actually understand why some people say that when he "opened his eyes", it means that he died. If you're opening your eyes after being in a coma, doesn't that mean that you woke up? And if you woke up, it means your alive, right?
I'm not sure I understood the game... But my guess is that he (the main character) is in a coma. The bird was a family relative or friend, probably trying to help him recover. And I think that the "bird" told the lie to him about his sister trapped in the basement, because it wanted him to live. And to do that it gave him to have a reason, a goal to fight for, for WHY he should live. The bird only told the truth when the character was definitely going to live, down in the basement. The basement I think, stands for the inner workings of the character's body. And the pulsing blobs of flesh show that the character is alive and recovering. When you ring the "dore bell", maybe it's like opening the door to recovery or something? And when the character opens his eyes at the end, it shows that he survived. The "bird" might even have been the character's sister.
@CrazyHair911: Everyone already knows that I would think. And the voice says, "Even here you search for me. So sweet." And you have to be completely obedient or jumped over the pit for the first command. And again, this is a better game than thousands of others on this site and beyond, and deserves a lot more than a 100% loved. It deserves to be 999,999,999,999% loved.
It's very nice artwork, but I almost completely didn't get the story besides the description. And some of the pictures. If her husband/friend/loved one dies, then who was the man sitting on the ground in the last scene? Who's the little girl? Why did she blindfold herself? Why was there a scene with a dead bird/pigeon? It's a 4/5 game in my opinion.
666 isn't the password to enter the casino. That's for the elevator lift, if you want to choose the first choice. To get the casino password, go to the subway and find a note. And find out for yourself how to enter the subway.
