actually, pretty fun.
the only thing I would change is that it seems weird to double-click to reveal squares, considering a single click to flag is something you do like 10 times less.
besides the control issues, which do slow down the game, the ripple effects are cool.
376 kills, totally flat map.
a few suggestions:
-Make In-Game Achievements accumulate to get Kongregate acheivements
-Make In-Game achievements easier to see
-Clean up the interface. Don't be afraid to nest buttons, or character creation.
-Add some kind of story or objective-based missions to increase replayability
otherwise, great!
very fun. that cerberus/colussus was challenging but not impossible, and the controls were tight. definitely deserves a 5/5. the only complaint is the old-school graphics (which I liked) made it slightly difficult to navigate while outside. inside, it was better.
omg stop the music loop! good the first 2 times through, terrible the 44th.
otherwise, good concept. how about longer? and harder? and arrow buttons that don't have a bounding box 3 pixels wide?
I have spore too... and I mostly just want to play that now.
On the other hand, it seems like time was spent on this, so try implementing your concepts into something a little more fresh and different.
I like it, it's fun... but I do agree that it is too luck based. Sometimes, there are so many pills it is impossible to die, or vice versa. Also, the Death Dice occasionally crowd the field, but sometimes there is more than a minute without them. Basically, too random.
