So... I'm going to be done playing for a while. The last update made the game unplayable. I went idle for a few hours and they enemy base rebuilt a tent and a building of which contain 680+ enemies. Given that there are 62 ogres and 1 (one ogre) can easily decimate 4-5 soldiers and then push trough and destroy every ranged soldier and then glitch in and take down my towers and gate I really don't have the patience to toggle back and forth 300+ times -twice- to get back to where I was 2 hours ago to reclaim the 2 buildings.
I really enjoy this game but there are so many things that need work. Can you please put a button to purchase units on the main screen.
It's very frustrating toggling back and forth, especially given the difficulty increases that have happened recent updates. I am spending the entire battle toggling back and forth. My Mages and Archers keep funneling to the entrance to the castles and jumping into the clump with my soldiers and getting decimated, to boot they clog up the gate corridors so reinforcements cannot get through... until said archers and mages are slaughtered. In general AI with the ranged units needs lots of work.
Wow. Great Game!!! 5/5. The only thing, and this has already been mentioned I think, but the game does lag a little when clicking even remotely fast. The cursor lags and sticks in the previous spot I have clicked but the enemies have moved closer. This has prevented me from advancing quicker as a result. Minor adjustment but a lot of fun otherwise!!!
Yep- had to hard reset to get the glitch fixed- had 80+ Hero Spirits. I guess I'm done with this game. Worth noting that if you hard reset it saves automatically right away. I thought I would try and hopefully it would reset my current game but it had 100% reset everything when I refreshed. Too bad- I really liked the game.
So.... I did the soft reset and all of my upgrades stayed "purchased" but none of them are active. I cannot advance at all since you need lvl 50 and 1 completion of the holy grail quest to soft reset again and there is no way to get there without the buffs. VERY frustrating.
Good Game- fine work. I think it would be nice if the items or areas the "daily kingdom news" was affecting/discounting/buffing would be identified or highlighted beyond the text. Maybe with a "pink" tick similar to the news header or an arrow or something. there is a lot to manage at times so that might be helpful when toggling around doing tasks.
@videogamer8888- No worries mate- cool cool. It never hurts getting called out for being a dullard every now and again- thanks for keeping me in check.:)
@videogamer8888- You're correct- my post was rude- my bad. My point being, it simply is not a 5/5 game. 3/5 or 4/5 maybe but there are so many 5/5 comments being posted with many flaws in the game. With that said the "pay to win" portion was in quotation marks. It is more like "pay to advance quickly" but I didn't want to dabble in the details and was hoping people could jump to the conclusion based on the intent of the statement- hence the "" marks. I didn't feel that it was a stretch suggesting that given how quickly half of the components of the game deplete so quickly and directly leads you to a Kreds pay screen. I have no problem supporting Dev's for making good games but to poorly scale the energy and then overcharge for more via Kreds is a little more than frustrating. But thanks for pointing out my rudeness- I didn't' intend for it to come off that way.
Also the scaling in the stock market is off. Say I invest 40k into a 4k stock and it jumps 10 points in one turn- I make $100- but investing 40K in a $40 stock and it goes up only 1 point, I make $1000- really, there is no reason to invest in any stocks above $200 since the yield % is lower based on the volume of stock you can purchase. This could be balanced by adding a stock purchase fee... but would ruin they play value since the stock market is all anybody is really doing the majority of the time anyway. Also the stock-market continues to reset the "buy all" and 15/30/60 minute views when you leave the menu which is rather annoying when toggling back and forth to quickly sell all stock.
How anybody is rating this game 5/5 is beyond comprehension. Yes, the game has potential but It is very unbalanced in many ways. First, for those who have been commenting on how sitting around and watching the clock on the top of the screen tick to the next stock day for ours at a time qualifies this game as 5/5...Really?!?! Also, clicks and energy are used up too quickly and recharge is too slow. I understand this is to prevent an "auto clicker" advantage but it needs some serious tweeking as even manual clicking with even the first luxury car upgrade can burn up ALL energy in 20 seconds. Yes, you can make more money using the stock market- but it should be better balanced.
Developer response: "This game IS ABOUT ENERGY, otherwise everyone will be able to solve this in 30min using autoclicker.".... LOL the game is about "pay to win" otherwise buying energy with wouldn't even be an option.
While there is now strict objective in game you can not win. All features are available for free. If you want to achieve some goals quicker you can simply buy refills. For stock (where you can multiple funds like nowhere else) you dont need energy.
I love how the Devs. responses about THIS games performance seem to suggest that they had know idea the data leaks were going to occur.... given that every game they have ever released has had the EXACT SAME ISSUES. Adorable.
I’m very sorry that this game hasn’t worked well for you and others here. I know it’s taken awhile, but we’re working really hard on a fix for all the game slowdowns. We found a lot of problems, like you mentioned, in our game engine, but finally are very close to a fix. I hope everybody will give our game another chance.
We overlooked some simple tests we should have done before launching the game. We’re working hard on the memory leak. Won’t rest until it’s done!
Wow, A lot of fun when the game worked... This game has so much potential. With that said, clearly the dev. is somehow unable to make the changes that nearly all other devs. can on Kong - and then repeatedly continues to blame it on Kong for not being able to fix said issues. Pretty frustrating given how fun the game could possibly be if it actually worked. I am currently getting the black screen and cannot play. I would have (and actually had) given it 4/5 or possibly 5 rating had the lag/loading issues as well as a few other fixes been made. The the depth and complexity of the game are really nice and remind me of the throwback sim games... but clearly the dev. is giving up and/or not able or willing to make said changes (based on their own "developer response" comments.) That's really too bad :(
Hello, I'm not giving up, and I'm still updating the game until it reaches a stable version, then I'll stop updating here. It is not normal that some players are still playing for the first time a version that is more than 24 hours old, and that they may randomly switch back to an older version.
That messes the game saves, and thus, breaks the game.
That makes me lose a lot of time that could have been spent for making the game better and adding content.
I did not have problems with flash games here, only HTML5, and I'm not the only one, just check the forums.
I do not have either any problem of this kind on any of the other portals where the game is uploaded.
So when I'm getting insulted, or when someone asks me what he can do to play the game, what should I answer him ? "Sorry I'm just incompetent " or "play the game on a site where HTML5 game files are handled properly because I have no power to fix these problems here" ?
Meop79- Ughhh... "idiots" is a little harsh- play nice please... besides- you spelled "super" wrong. ;) Also, waiting for the gold is not necessarily a good thing- most of my upgrades cost 10 million+ and given the download time I have to wait 5+ minutes for one upgrade. Visually I do like it rather than a screen that pops up and vomits your offline earnings in one chunk. Well... I'm going to go eat some "supper" now.
Such potential- The game really needs hover-overs for the upgrades so I know what they are- it's really confusing at first. Also the use of arrow keys would be nice- as of today they have not been enabled. I've never been a fan of WASD controls and trying to click adjacent keys to toggle through weapons. It would be really nice to just click the weapon you want to use on the screen- that way you can single click the ammo with the best upgrade.
I am working on both of these issues today! Thanks for your patience!
