Just got to level 10 and I got a new move. No new equipment, though. Could use one more special each. But again, the boss is too easy with everything equipped at level 10. Game could be longer, add more equipement and moves, and make a harder boss once the time came for the game to be over.
Wtf. Just beat the game with level 3 equipment. Didn't even know it was the boss until the epilogue came. Kind of disappointing. Thought I'd be getting more moves and more equipment. Didn't even upgrade myself all the way because I was going to wait until level 5 stuff came out lol. Oh well. Still a good game. 4/5
I had 2 hitpoints left, got a treasure chest with +10 max HP in it, and instantly died as I entered the next battle. No attacks were made. Just dropped dead. Sweet.
Also, you do know that 2D6 means 2-12 damage, right? 1D10 means 1-10, 2D8 means 2-16, and so on. All my weapons do the same craptastic amount of damage no matter what their rating.
Need to work out a lot of things in this game. Food on the ground doesn't do anything. Shouldn't it be healing you? Weapons do a wildly sporadic amount of damage. It's not even worth it to try to a heavy hit when it can do less than your light hit. I've been playing for an hour and the weapons still suck.
Birdman Tribe Leader is easily the best character in the game, which is ridiculous since I got him in like the 4th level only. He can fly and has the best attack(staff) in the game.
I was a custom Wildcat. The entire last level I was one-hit killing everybody when I powered up. I had a powerup that doubled my agility stats and a powerup that 4x'ed my strength. So I never missed and pounded the crap out of people. The game was pretty challenging before that. Needs a lot more variety in the shops. The skills and fighting were great already, though. Wouldn't really change them. Great game.
The H-Bomb is about as effective as the Plasma Bullet and costs about 80x as much. I didn't buy the Frag Bombs until the last level and then realized how much easier the game was than I thought. I couldn't kill anything the last 4 levels using the lasers or H-Bomb. Should fix that.
