Combat is way too slow. Waiting for items in your workshop is horrible. Having such a low weight limit completely hinders your movement. Those things totally destroy the game. I want to play but I rage quit after like 10 minutes. Could be a really great game, but way too many obstacles. It wouldn't even be fun if I stuck a ton of money into it.
Wow. You couldn't let me go back and find the secrets without resetting the game on me? I didn't even know that was the last part of the game otherwise I wouldn't have entered. Can't rate higher than 3/5.
I will see about adding some cool upgrades that increases the speed of things. I am thinking of being able to upgrade the warrior to a knight for example to get buffs of like 25% to all stats etc
Yeah, that was a ui mistake on my part. I was going for the old nes feel where you try to experiment in order to figure things out. I think I made it too mysterious, lol. Working on adding help text now.
Pretty easy. I only used the wings once before I beat the game. Once you get HP and MP regen it's a piece of cake. Use all your skills on the bottom right to acquire all the attack and defense you can. Then get the heal spell and increase your magic.
I can't go back more than 1 or 2 floors. If I'm out of keys and need to collect more whetstones I basically have to ascend because it will take me like an hour to kill the current foe. Before the update I could go back as many floors as I wanted where I could one hit kill foes and collect some whetstones to sell for keys. This is especially a problem at the beginning of ascensions when each kill you're jumping up 20 or 30 levels. If you're out of keys there's no way you'll be able to kill the next foe that's 30 levels up without upgrading your hammer.
The thing I really disliked about the first game is that you couldn't respec your cats. You couldn't even rearrange them. I see this game didn't address that problem.
