@vorpalauroch, if the war academy is just as ubalanced and random than everyone is just complaining because they suck, i am having no trouble in the slightest beating these missions except for the mission 8 where it said i lost for no reason after turn 5
war academy mission 8, i apparently lost the battle after only the 5th turn having lost maybe 1-2 units and them having lost about half if not more of theres... wtfux up with that?
the war academy is very well done, im hearing alot of balance and randomization issues in the campaign mode, havent tried it yet. a "next unit" button would be nice
really needs to cut down on the randomness/luck, have a set number of yellows/purples/reds in each song and make sure theres one 'yellow madness' in each so that the random/luck is only when/where they appear and not how much/if as well
there is a substantial amount of luck involved: number of yellows, purples, and reds (ive had a end multiplier of 104 after missing a couple yellows and a different time an end multiplier in the 60s having gotten all yellows); proximinty of yellows/purples to reds (ive had yellows appear literally right underneath reds); when the yellows/purples appear (the earlier the yellows appear the better, the later the purples appear the better); and of course if and when a specialshape appears
for the high roller badge use duff. his belly block is a great way to avoid damage while giving it and his "tea bag" is a good fast attack. better than loudres or westone because joshuas running attack is a body attack
no music... negligible. no save... idk how long it is so im not sure how important that would be. no level select... kind of goes hand and hand with save, except its a more essential part. still fun game, nothing too special but its a decent challenge. 3/5 add level select and maybe some background music and itll be 4.5/5
my only question is: what exactly is the "training mode" mentioned in the badges? is it the tutorial at the beginning of the game? and if so, what part corresponds to each badge? they arent labelled in the game...
awesome game, my favorite 2D fighter of all time. anyone that treats this game like a button masher is going to fail miserably, and thats one of that best parts about this game: its not a button masher like all the other fighter games out there. it needs a save feature or something though, otherwise it takes way to long to go through all the chapters
awesome... saving on this game doesnt work if you have flash 10+ and instead of fixing this problem pseudolonewolf wants us to manual edit the save file...
