I made a tough decision. I did a hard reset. Almost had the 2000 of everything achievement. But I want the full experience. So I started over. *sob* It was a tough goodbye.
If I said to my wife "I'll be home soon", and waited 2 days. She would kill me.
Referencing the uploading of the patch. This is not bitching, this is me being impatient about a great game!
How about a customizable progression/farming mode?
with features such as: Stop before next boss or stop at lvl XX and start to farm. Maybe add an autoskilluser? With different features as: use order ( 1,2,3,4,7,5,6 ) or use skills as soon as they are ready. Just some thoughts. :)
Great game, with lots of potential! I was severely entertained during the game.
For a sequal here's some suggestions. :)
Maybe you should add a headquarters between missions (with unlimited move points) This place could include:
Op room, where you see the map
Shooting range, where you buy and upgrade weapons
Bedroom, characterupgrades, background stories (and some sort of rested bonus maybe?)
Communications room, get new missions in other areas. Maybe some friend function (shootouts, duals, borrow-a-buddy for a mission, etc.)
Also the ability to upgrade, decorate your headquarters.
In the game it would be really cool with extra features, such as:
Take cover
Kick in doors
Blast locks with shotgun
More elaborate hand-to-hand combat
Also the enemies could shout things (he's over here, take cover, blast them)
That's it. Great game :)
My finger hurts from resetting. :-/ Even at 10x buying option, you click 700 times, to get to 700 of each. That not including the upgrades.
Any news on the "buy all upgrades"? and maybe add a 25x buying option?
Very very addicting game!
My turret blew up, when I wanted to go to the main menu.
All of my additional turrets kept firing on the enemy, menu function is buggy. But other than that, fun game.
A couple of ideas:
Make the map size-adjustable, so people with slower computer can make it smaller and vice versa.
Maybe let the wall "stick" to each other? I built a makeshift maze, and the people ran right through the walls.
Adjustable speed would be nice too.
Maybe make some vehicles, if you have larger maps, people could make small racetracks.
Just a spurt of ideas :) Fun little game. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the suggestions. Map sizes are on my list of things to do, and I'm going to be making "indestructible walls soon too. As for adjustable speeds, I've added a config menu for the zombies which allows you to change their speed and damage, and i'm planning to do so with all the other NPC's. EDIT: I added that "Wall Stick feature" Hold Shift/CTRL While clicking (Depending on what side your building from). I also fixed the "going through the wall problem" turns out the collision box for the stone vertical walls was set to the same as the Stone horizontal, which caused them to walk through the edges.
People should stop complaining about the lenght of the game. If the game had been shorter, people would complain about that as well. At least you can play this excellent game (with it's few flaws) for a longer period of time, due to the length.
These are typical results. Maybe we should add some sort of disclaimer or warning to the front of the game?
