The difficulty level of this game is very high. I can't quite discern if that is due to my ignorance or the game design. Problem is, I don't seem to be getting smarter as I play...3/5
REALLY pissed off at level 38 right now. Soooooo unbelievably glitchy. The boxes keep getting sent back to their freaking starting position when I drop them through an open portal!!! WTF????
I don't know if anyone caught this already or not, but there is a nasty little glitch in the final scene. Once Liam goes in the cave and you control Reemus, if you pick up the pineapple-ish plant then click the restart scene button, it locks up. The game won't allow you to block the cave entrance anymore, and you can't jump into the frog's mouth. Fortunately, once you've played the game through once, it doesn't take too long to get back to the end...
Probably ought to qualify my statement below: the aiming is very sketchy. It's virtually impossible to get him to shoot where the crosshairs are aimed.
Goblin:
Talk to Bob, order nuclear device; as Bob starts to walk away, click the toolbox; open toolbox (by clicking the "eye"); click the screwedriver and then your inventory button. Hope this helps.
Quality adjuster please. I know my compy sucks, but I simply cannot play this game because it lags so bad. First track took me 5 minutes to play - my total track time was 42 seconds. Ridiculous.
Combines many unique elements from other adventure point-and-clicks, but executes them rather sloppily. I particularly dislike it when words are misspelled. 2/5
One criticism: on certain maps (Stonefield Border for example) when equivalent units (ie. two base mages) are placed in seemingly equivalent positions (in the Stonefield Border example, if you place two mages in the front/center position) at the same time, they don't level evenly. In my attempts at Stonefield Border, those mages (after wave one) have experience of 31.2 and 7.8 respectively. I understand that experience is based on damage dealt, but if both mages are firing at the same time, it seems that equivalent damage should be dealt by each. Just my opinion. Thanks for the great, challenging game!
