Slayer, the signs around town tells you what the different answers mean and there's text next to the quiz buttons telling you which sign has which question. That said I too solved it with question and error, since one of them involves counting the number of blue flowers, and who has the time for that? Not me that's for sure
You have mentioned in the comments that the intention was for people to pick the difficulty they prefer, and that you are unsure how you could communicate that clearly in the level design.
I have a suggestion for a minor thing you could do: reverse the order the options are presented in.
Since the natural reading order is top to bottom, having the easiest one there with the more difficult ones bellow, it suggests a progression and thereby that the player should play through them all as a means of progressing in the game.
If on the other hand you put the most difficult at the top, it's a bit clearer that progression isn't meant to be implied.
I just returned after some time, and I'm not really a fan of the new move style. I feel it slows the game down to much to have to click and click instead of just dragging
@raymondwille, go right to build speed then go all the way to the left and change direction so that you momentum carries you over and onto the center ball. From there just go fast towards the circle and you should get it.
Things I learned while trying to do a vegetarian run:
1) There's a bug where if you get too much gold (a bit above 2 billion), it'll roll over to a negative number.
If this happen while a boss is on the screen their lifebar will empty but they won't die.
2) it isn't possible to do a vegetarian run, but only because of that damn tree, which heals itself faster than you can hurt it even with the full 8.3 multiplier of a maximized treasure hoard.
@General_1999 use one arrow temporarily to stop the other one in the position where you want it to turn. Then retract it. I can confirm that it is possible, through the sequencing can get rather hard.
For a first game, which I have now seen you say in other comments, this was an particularly impressive showing.
If you keep at it I'm sure you'll make some real gold someday.
I like this game.
There was a nice meditative quality to the levels that was overall very satisfying.
It could have used a game over message of some sort for the fire tower levels, and perhaps some sort of acknowledgement of having completed the last level.
It would also have been nice if it automatically moved on to the next level when you win rather than going back to the level select screen.
Thanks! In the next update you will be able to press 'space' from the level-select screen, and it will take you to the next. Also, I think Doge kind of does describe 'an acknowledgement of having completed the last level.' But thanks for the suggestions!
@RedTomato, right at the start find a way for the black box blocking the first lighting barrier you need to cross to be one higher, you will need it later.
@whitewolf416 you can change that in the options menu (bottom left corner the triangle with the 3 rows of dots and dashes). Personally I like "mark first".
Thanks!
