Very underrated. It kills me to see some of the tripe that gets on the front page and 5 stars when this has more atmosphere and originality in the first level.
No accounting for taste, I guess.
The editor needs to be moveable or hideable. If you accidentally click the wrong thing, or want to edit something on the very bottom row, it's impossible. It's a pretty serious problem when you want to make a cool level and decide not to bother after making three white guys and being unable to delete them because whenever you click on it, instead of deleting any of them you make another one in the same spot as before.
I hate to say it, but I don't particularly like it. If there's something that makes this game new or unique, it's not in the first ten minutes. Quick tip: If there's a reason for us to play your game over any other shooter, make sure we know what it is so we're not spending 10-15 minutes playing another average shooting game.
Also, the music. Dear god, one continuous loop of the same music, all game. Please, add some variety that isn't bad video game techno.
Lovin' it. I remember seeing this on Newgrounds and wanted to complain, then I realized that this has the Newgrounds loader, so it's probably the same one xD
Great game, regardless. I love a new idea.
"Welcome to the army! For your first test I want you to go about ten feet that way and kill a bunch of those guys who are wandering around, oblivious to your presence." Wait, what?
If you could reduce the interface lag, add more skills, and sharpen up the graphics, it'd be one of the most fun games on Kong. Seriously, it's a diamond in the rough. With a little polishing, it could go far.
Here's something I'd like to add: Please, make it so that your Trap towers don't shoot at things that are already trapped. If you build them in just slightly the wrong place, they'll re-stick it to a point in the wall that's further down, essentially not slowing them at all. I had a bunch of trap towers and they kept shooting the bosses. The bosses were barely slowed. That's just not right.
Could this game get any more boring? I watch my little soldiers march across a straight line, without any input, as they fight other CPU controlled enemies. My only decisions are what powerups to get and when to drop them, and that's got to be the tiniest decision I could possibly make.
If there's more to the game, you should introduce it in the first couple of levels. I got to level three and that's as far as I cared to go.
As much as I like this game, it baffles me that there would be an appreciable difference between getting shot by a bazooka in the head and shot by one in the body.
This game could benefit from some audiovisual feedback when you hit enemies. At first I wasn't sure if that little lightning bolt was killing dudes or if they were ignoring it.
To "use" melee, just walk into the dudes you're trying to kill. Only Paladins, Barbarians, and Theives with Wristblades can use melee attacks- Rangers and Wizards do not ever get a ranged attack. At least they can still jump on dudes' heads, though.
I just want to point out for "temporary" that mirossl is asking for help because he cannot distinguish between the red and green blocks, not because he can't distinguish black from white. Kind of obvious, I'd think.
