The hacking at the part where you can free the prisoners is a bit bugged, sometimes it still registers the wasd keys, so you can accidentally restart the level, and sometimes it won't do anything when you complete the hack
good graphics and I am able to play this good, but I can't seem to attack anything anymore after I did the second story mission. I target it and push the corresponding button, but nothing happens, the button doesn't light up at all too. Tried buying and selling the weapon to see if it fixed it, but it didn't
I think there should be a option to run away.
I like balancing my characters out in levels (All level up at the same time).
Well, I wasn't watching one of the characters healths and they died, I had no revives so now my team is unbalanced and it kinda bothers me.
Really good game, but I do think a "Escape" type button should be an option.
Nice game, The tactical animations are abit slow. And idk if it's my browser, but I can't explore dungeons and caves.
(I use Google Chrome btw)
I'd rate it 3-4/5
So wait. A random, untrained civilian is able to fend off multiple waves of machines, but well trained soilders that could have had mech suits too, died by robots that are too enthralled by that shiny metal door to attack the player. Sounds about right. :3
Anyway, as what other people have said, ti comes down to mindless shooting while walking back and forth. As someone said, tracks on the mech suit would be better because there is no actual place or time to jump. More upgrades (Ability to reinforce door would be really helpful for me), enemy types, and if you're going to have jumping enabled, then have a vantage point (like somewhere on top of the map), to jump to.
Other than those, loved the game, it was fun to grind for metal to see the new weapons and upgrades for turrets.
Sorry wanted to add on to my last comment.
Game was interesting, (Spoiler) it had the crime investigation show type feel at the end when you find the rich girl dead in the soccer field. I would love to see more of this game, some missions though made me feel left out, and there really isn't that much of a change in the other characters behavior from beginning to end, they hated you as much as they did when you arrived. Though there were some that did change their text later on in the game, but it wasn't directed towards the player. Dave seems to be a figment of your imagination like the top comment said, all the reasons were spot on. Though I think that, like other games where your helper is only visible by you, that he is Thomas, which was probably the first one missing (Before you got to the school), and isn't revealing his true identity until the end of the series.
Love the mystery, and how this game turned out to be.
The second level is near impossible when you waste all your ammo, you get demoted, add that to the fact that santa is jumping around making you miss 99% of your shots. I can barely get past the third gun. And finally add that to the fact that the enemy can just spray you to hell and back, and still have enough ammo for seconds is making the second level tedious, and very frustrating.
This is actually really fun. Though it can be a bit annoying at times.
The loading screen has nothing, no preloader to take time up, or even a loading bar.
Though I liked the camera angles following the mouse around, it can get a bit annoying getting the target on the enemy. A crosshair would be nice instead of the mouse.
I would give this a 3.5/5 or a 4/5
