I'm normally not a big fan of visual novels, but I played this one for the badge and dear lord, I am hooked. I finished chapter 17 yesterday and am now going through withdrawls.
Trying to move my character makes the whole Kong page move instead, and combine that with the way things move within the game with the mouse and it starts making me nauseous. It looks like an interesting game, but I can't play something that's literally making me motion sick
It'd be nice if there was a place you could go in-game to remind you what powers all the different colours have; even just a little text box when hovering over the colour in the up next section would be good
Is there a way to just turn around without walking in that direction? I'm on a platform that's one unit wide, that I get on by walking right, and just need to be facing left without walking off the left edge =/
Was almost done with the last puzzle, only to accidentally click on a bookmark at the top of the window while trying to get a cloud. My scream of "noooo!" as I navigated away and all my progress was lost... Why oh why isn't there a save function?
I feel like I might have missed a step; I never did the lantern fish/morse code puzzle, I just guessed that an empty ink pot could use some ink and got the octopus.
The compass clue doesn't seem to auto-grey-out correctly. Also, when I manually grey-out clues I know I've finished it re-highlights them as soon as I mark a flag or dig a square, which is super annoying
How is this still on the front page? It's an unfinished, likely abandoned beta (hell, perhaps even alpha) version of a game, with a lying title to boot.
So around about tier 7 things really start to lag. Once you get the first actual mutation, not just the solid-colored starter for the tier, you can fill up the tier in about 20 minutes of active play, but waiting for that first mutation seems to take exponentially longer time for each tier. 6 sets of solid-colored breeding pairs took about half an hour for the first mutation on tier 7, over an hour on tier 8, and I let it run overnight to get one for tier 9. I'm now at solid silver breeders and have been for over a day, and still haven't gotten any mutations (I'm guessing the next step is the mythic "5-leaf clover" of the title). I'd hoping if I wait long enough to build up enough science to buy more mutations/faster breeding something might actually happen here, but that's gonna take a few more days at this rate...
How on earth did he use a flower pot to hold water? Flower pots have holes in the bottom for drainage, so the plants don't get overwatered - the water should have just poured right back out
