Fun game actually, although I feel the laser overheats pretty fast. On level 8 you are swarmed with enemies, and you can't destroy them within the heating-time of the laser to win. Still, the art is excellent and gameplay has a lot of potential. :)
Fun! With some story and more levels this could turn into a nice game, since it's short, but entertaining. Fun running away from everyone. I got it on first try with 2 mins left ^_^
Inter-mission upgrades would indeed imbue the game with a sense of continuity. More story elements would be nice, and the game isn't really difficult either. But, it's a cool concept, I like the graphics, good work!
Gameplay is rather bland, with enemies just flying forward. What about them fighting back, using elaborate attack patterns and formations? Right now it feels like a random number generator throwing stuff at us at randomly generated y-coordinates... You did a fine job on the upgrades, though, but the turrets should be fixed to the ship, not to the screen edge...
Great game. Got stuck once in the room where Strix was, but had a good time overall. Enemy variety was a bit scarce, though, and the weapons were rather similar except sound (assault rifle, smg and pulse rifle).
Great points! Indeed I am working on the additional weapons, and base facility upgrades, additional enemies and environments in the Unity3D version. I will post updates as they become available. Thanks for the feedback! ;)
Great game. The graphics are superb, but the drone farming is a serious issue. I'd remove any form of Ir stealing if you are also going to use it as health. I'd actually remove it anyway, because it poses serious balance issues. I can fill up a 1500 Ir bar in just a few seconds. If you remove it, you'll probably have to re-balance the waves, because they are pretty tough and impossible to survive without Dronefarming... Good game! 4/5
Too little on-screen info about what towers do. There should be some way to repair towers, maybe include a mason-unit that throws bricks and repairs towers. Jerky movement and it's not always clear what paths monsters take. Magic units mess up the landscape really bad until there's just a giant crater around a tower and you can't see what's happening anymore. Single or Area mode sounds good, but what are the tradeoffs? Interesting, keep it up.
It plays really smooth, but just 1 attack and a gun is too little. Jumping, jump attacks and some grab-and-throw-mechanics would make it more enjoyable.
Fun game, impressive concept, although part of the fun from tower defense games comes from seeing your towers destroy the enemies. That's largely lost on the player, because you are continously focussing on matching the stones. Still, fun game! :) 5/5
Very unfinished. Clipping issues, inconsistent geometry and rather lifeless movement. This needs a lot of polishing. 3/5, because somehow you could get this into shape and create an actual game of it.
Interesting. Lots of diversity in characters, quick and painless battle system. It does need some more gameplay elements to keep it from becoming repetetive, such as random encounters, a storyline to follow, etc. The 1000 gold bug is indeed present and makes the game quite a bit harder. Nonetheless, 3/5
Interesting concept, but way too easy. Draw everything in a vertical line, and the ship stays put and catches all bullets. Some defense in front, some attack in the rear and simply redraw defense in front. Because everything is vertical, the ship stays in the same spot and the heavy hitters smoke him very quickly. It was a breeze using my notepad's touchpad, since drawing vertical lines is easy.
Stoll though, nice idea.
