I think knowing if there's algorithms behind the solutions or just a sweet spot to hit would be interesting. IE did you have to draw a certain pattern or just arrive in the right spot.
I enjoyed this game and it was a neat touch for the enemies to actually kill you. (Haven't really played any point & click games where death was viable.) I felt like the ending was kind of rushed like you were on a deadline or just got tired of working on this game. (It would have been interesting to learn more about the little touches. This game is good at giving the player things to question or wonder about but answers almost none of them. Definitely worth playing though.
This game is well designed but the actual content could use a little more detail. The terrain and zombies got boring very quickly. I liked the dual wield, inclusion of flashlight and headlights, as well as an initially terrifying reason to get indoors at dark. The dead zombies absorbed bullets and snagged the rest of the horde bothered me. Rather than having the same types of zombies chasing you all the time, I think it would be more interesting to have the spawns divided into districts and there be no physical barriers for players. Like borderlands or WoW, the barrier was the strength of the enemies. You could drop a couple with alot of difficulty making it clear to the player that this was not a place they wanted to be. To bring more focus to the free-roaming aspect of the game, I feel that weapons should be pickups and that the upgrades and ammo are the source of expenses.
Still a good game and worth playing. I hope it has a sequel with new details and mechanics worked in.
Started in Madagascar and was thwarted by Argentina of all places. Started in Madagascar again, going on day 50, and NO SHIPS have left yet, so no other countries are infected...
Elevator is a total take off of Streets of Rage, in a good way though. I just wish I could call in my artillery support :P The game was great although kinda difficult in terms of staying alive. My only complaint is the elevator glitched. One of the enemies is floating out of reach so I can't kill him and progress with the game.
I've tried this game on two different computers and on both its loaded up glitched. I can't start the first mission, I click on the button and nothing happens.
This game is buggy as all hell. Once I used comet, I could not switch back to my other weapons. I could not open my inventory, and once my mana ran out, I was left helpless during a boss fight. Dying and hitting continue did not resolve the issue either.
Also while I was playing, my character kept freezing or would continually fire despite the fact I had only clicked once.
Also due the the similarities in graphics and game play, I can't help but feel I would be better off playing endless zombie rampage, which despite its numerous bugs, was still alot better off than this game.
(Also note that this game made firefox lock up entirely, and this is on a linux system and no I don't have low system specs.)
1/5
I went back to that room on the 4th floor after starting the generator and now the elevator is broke again. You need to fix your triggers cause now I can't input the secret code I found.
A great concept for a game, but some of the detection of where the holes actually are is a bit wonky. Something that may have helped address this is platforms which are more than just rectangles.
This game is boring, also keep in mind I am running this game on a Phenom 9750 Quad Core - 2.4Ghz, 8GB of RAM with a 9800GT and this game is lagging horribly.
I've beat 5 levels and already I am bored, this game needs more of a sense of accomplishment or changes in gameplay style rather than being a senseless shooter which resembles asteroids on steroids.
The potential badges aren't even worth suffering through this game.
2/5 because it does have a 3D-ish appearance.
When you break this game down, it is really just an advanced version of all those turret and desktop defense games. Turrets and Enemies which have different compatabilities, resource management, upgrades. Didn't keep me from giving this game a 5/5 though.
I like how clean and logical the interface and menus are as well as the upgrade system / status mechanics, but the controls really are glitchy.
Considering the lack of graphical detail and physics detail, it is startling how terribly this game runs on a netbook.
Good game but could have gone with some more polishing before you released it.
I made it to the day where the radioactive zombies or whatnot come. After the first wave... nothing. I need to kill 116 more zombies to finish my mission but none are spawning. Also there's another glitch. While one gun is reloading, if you switch in the middle of it, all your empty guns will say ammo of zero and will not reload until you finish reloading the interrupted weapon.
