Addendum to my previous comment, game stays active as long as the page is kept on screen and 1. isn't minimized and 2. you don't make another tab active.
So basically, separate the tab from your main browser screen but keep it as a visible window, then maximize your browser window and the game will stay active. Still something that needs to be fixed by the developer.
We are looking into that issue at the moment, it is not as easy to solve with javascript as it is with AS3 or Unity; theres a solution involving webworkers but that would alienate people using older browsers AKA people playing from their office where they can't install the browser they like.
You could close the tab and come back later, the game does respect your progress while it's closed :)
There are so many games, that use music from old/other games. Just look at all the games that use Pokemon/Zelda/Mario graphics. Ok, sure, basically they are violating the copyrights too. But the thing is, as long nobody complains its "ok". I am not saying that i made the music (also in the credits there is a NG-Link to the "maker" of the Track so its not directly ripped off the game itself) But besides i am not selling it in any way or making money with it. So, yeah.
Love the game, I'm personally not a fan of spending Angel Investors for upgrades, would prefer if having a certain amount of Angel Investors permanently unlocked those upgrades, but that's just me.
The blue bars are the difference between the cars default stats and maximum potential. The cars will never be equally good, the Routemaster is never going to travel as fast as The Tardis or spin as fast as the Micro Machine... even with full upgrades.
I'm really disappointed how buggy this game is. Not even possible to get all the achievements for me (some just wouldn't show up). Big let down after how good the first two games were.
