Bug report: watching to the end of the intro causes adobe flash player to crash every time, skipping intro avoids this crash. Latest flash version, running Firefox 9.0.1 on Win7x32
Please add a feature to let us SELECT the color of iZZi. The random color picker is cute, but doesn't add to the gameplay; just "dumping" unusable iZZi's offscreen is no fun.
Very solid execution; however, in the later levels survival tends more towards luck than skill. Item drops are the only way to survive, and adding a "luck" upgrade would greatly serve the survival strategy. A few minor tweaks could make the 'good' replay value really 'great'!
Bat-bot gets stuck in the ceiling -- not a clipping issue per se, just poor level design. The bat bot takes about 30 - 40 seconds to find his way out of the box. This happens every time.
What an enjoyable game! The wall jumping is a little tricky and can miss the collision detection sometimes -- improving the engine to be more of an "N+" or "fancy-pants" style platformer would make the game 6/5. Even in typing this review, I second-guess when I press the backspace key...
Dear game developers:
Please take note of a basic concept of physics. Spikes do not harm you, even in the least, if you touch them from the side. If you spend time coding a physics 'engine' that incorporates changing gravity, you can AT LEAST account for the direction we're moving when we touch your "areas-o-death".
The physics are broken nearly to the point of disabling the basic premise of the game. No reason for the rear cart to travel faster than the lead cart, no reason for the carts to leave the tracks, no reason to have track connections not auto-smooth.
Awesome premise, bad execution, 3/5
Clever enough, but riddles that don't work on everyone's hardware are unacceptable. It makes the game unplayable for me, so 1 star for a good idea, 0 stars for execution, compatibility, and bug-checking.
Gorgeous, great immersion... left me wanting more by the end. Actually, that's my only real complaint -- plenty to explore, but no real character development (except the "extra" wings). With art / talent like that, take it places! Still, 5/5 on execution :)
Solid, fun, difficult. I find myself wasting many hours going for just one more coin... few games have this much replay value / are this engaging. Graphics are true-to-style. 5/5
Almost zero gameplay, more of an interactive animation.
Motion and pseudo-3d effects are very nice, good enough to earn a 3/5 for a "game" that isn't a game.
