there was a very old game called City Jumper (made in 2002!) which was basically this game but with better graphics, controls and sounds. I looked it up just now, it's still hosted online.
wow, this game redefines the word HARD. I'm guessing it's only called vectorb because the name "the impossible game" was already taken. It's quite possible that the main reason this game was created was to turn people with OCD into murderers. I got to level 30, but after 30 mins and 200+ deaths just on it, I gave up.
The orb is too squishy, making the game harder than it should be (you can't move the orb too fast).
one measure of a quality of a game is the amount of time you can spend playing it without realizing that much time has passed. I've been playing it for more than 3 hours now. 5/5. My only complaints are that it's too easy, the quests are a bit tedious (repetitive), and the screen is too cluttered with gems, coins and gas in survival (after about 8000 ft you can't even see the PC anymore).
nice game, but the difficulty curve is very bad. I enjoyed this game at first, gave it 4 stars, died maybe 2 times. Then I came to an almost impossible level (the one with ammo on the left of the start, between 2 rows of death tiles, and where you blink fast). I lowered it to 3 stars after dying 30 times, then to 2 after dying 100 times, then I gave up. It's almost impossible to time those jumps, I managed to get through a few times by sheer luck, but you need to go back many times to get ammo for turrets and switch. Makes the game more frustrating than difficult.
Hey thanks for playing. This was just made in 2 days so unfortunately I didn't have time to make a lot of levels. That level you described is actually the last level and is close to impossible to complete, potentially imitating a final level in a more complete game. Given more time I would of course, flesh this out to a more complete experience. But to be fair you did well to get to that level :)
awesome game, although the last level was more of trial and error, and memorizing where to stand and shoot, than a puzzle. 4/5 because it's a bit too short, and the last level. Make it longer and change the last level and it's 5/5.
Exactly what inspired this series in the start in 2011. Well spotted:)
