is the level with the three symbols the last level? because the game just kicks me to the start menu once i finish that one... shame, would have been better with a bit of story to go with that voice acting.
Umbriel, if anything it's easier to get a higher score than ever! Took me weeks of playing each day to get a high score of around 450,000 before, and that was I think over 15 regions. I remembered the game today, came back, and after 15 minutes, on my third try, I have 639,920 in 8 regions, with 149 tris collected and highest multiplier of 13. Multiplier is key to getting a huge score. And this game is even more awesome than before.
4/5 Don't get me wrong, the game is awesome, but after going from ~250 deaths on all the prior levels to >1000 on level 57, I feel the game is even harder than the notorious The Impossible Game. Specifically, this level requires split second timing and decisions, making it all about committing actions to muscle memory and endless repetition. And it's too long, you should have split it into 2 or 3 levels (it has 3 distinct parts with different pace, and the last one is really friggin hard. The magnets in the last part are too many and too close together, I think that makes it so hard).
I don't get it, the game is graphically polished, obviously a lot of work went into it, but the gameplay is so unbalanced and so buggy that it looks like the game wasn't even playtested before it was released.
@Kimbytns: if you move your mouse up and down with the fish on the pitchfork, you have 3 positions of the pitchfork. Put it low, then when the crocodile lounges for the fish move the pitchfork all the way up. Do this three times and you can go past the crocodile.
Don't bother, there is nothing there... most likely a troll game...
I wanted to be sure before calling it, so I spent half an hour searching the whole map. Commenter raakihs is also most likely a troll, if his game is any indication...
There seems to be a bug, Wave 5 won't end. I've started a new game 5 times now, reloading the page every time, and I always end up stuck on lvl 5... All the enemies are dead but the game won't end the wave...
This game became a meta game for me after a few levels; the point was to see how many faults I can find before I finish it. It's a only a step up from "follow line with mouse". I half expected it to be a screamer when the paths narrowed. I can see how it COULD be fun with tilt mechanics for tablets, but with the mouse... And don't even get me started on WASD controls.
Not really challenging, just tedious. Needs a restart button so you don't have to wait after every mistake. Minimalist should refer to the design, not gameplay. In some of the later levels you can jump from start to end if you know where the end is; in most you can skip big parts of levels (last level).Level 59 wasn't that much of a challenge as it was a test of mousepad size, since speed seems to be proportional to the distance from cursor to ball.
The first comment that came to mind, around lvl 20, and fortified itself in my mind throughout the game: Your game is bad and you should feel bad.
Be glad limit is 1000 char
fun little game, but bumping into other bikes slows you down too much, and the difficulty curve is a bit off (lvls 1-13, very easy even with half upgraded bike, lvl 14 hard with fully upgraded bike, lvl 15 almost impossible)
Oh man, if I were to list all the homages in this game, I'd need several pages of text :)
