The lag is absolutely inexcusable and caused 100% by too high resolution with too many sprites.
There's also a *major* design flaw in that you're stuck with your "upgrade" and you lose *all* your money and ammo when you die. Terrible, terrible decision. Why not save user data with a cookie?
As I understand things, Macs will typically show less lag on Flash games than Windows machines because Windows run much more threads in the background. Mac's software is built on UNIX - it's not a Mac vs PC thing. I could be all wet, though.
This game is really well thought out. I *finally* figured out it's not a standard beat-em-up; the points are just there to distract you from the real goal. You have to be patient and trick the bad guys into beating themselves and each other up! My only complaint is the game plays *way* different on my fast Mac as opposed to my sloooooow Windows machine.
Why do shumps always do that bullcrap where you have to kill a million enemies before fighting the boss on the boss's level? I hate shumps sooooooo much....
Hey Long, I'm glad to see you're reading comments. My favorite thing about this game - and I *really* like it a lot - is the skid physics. They're really good and a lot of fun to control. The thing I like least is the difficulty. It's very easy to win races. Getting all the accomplishments isn't very easy, though, which keeps bringing me back! Great game, though!
