I used to like the Papa games, I really did. Back when there were a couple. But now there's what, 11 of them on Kong alone? I know the developer has made other games, some of them popular. I think they need to shift the focus to new ideas.
Ah, the infinite money to be made while standing out in an empty field, holding my suspenders. If only I could translate these skills into real life...
Well, tested and confirmed, messing with your computer's clock can suddenly break your game. The money it gets you, even jumping it forward several months, is trivial. Instead, it gets you angel investors. In a matter of hours, and I could have done it faster, I went from 337 angel investors to 24,157. Unless the way the offline accumulation is changed, there can never be a leader board for money, income or investors.
I find the new pieces easy to figure out through trial and error. The puzzles are challenging and rewarding. It's not perfect, but it's very fun and I'll enjoy coming back to play it again. 4/5.
So, I met with the bug where I can't continue without exiting and restarting, but I didn't even get it because I skipped speeding something up. I got a message saying I won a medal, clicked the view button and then couldn't exit the window for that. Really needs fixed.
I need an option to make the penguin shut up. He's very distracting and the placement of the word bubble is horrible. Is there an option for that and I just don't know it?
I really feel that this game has it's place. And that place is Pretend You're XYZZY, not Kongregate. Cards Against Humanity is fun, I admit, but it doesn't really seem like the right thing to be here.
I think it's a good concept and the gameplay isn't bad, but I feel the areas should be improved, it should be made longer with more varying difficulties, a better sense of accomplishment or completion when you win, just a few things. As it stands, it's only a 2/5 for me, but I'm really looking forward to a sequel.
I really like it, but unfortunately after a while I experienced lag to the point where where I couldn't get past a certain score. I'll try it on a better computer later, hoping to be able to play more.
"But I don't want to leave! I have a great monster killing business for which the local salesmen give me deals on their merchandise, I have a wonderful house which has my turret children, this is my home! Fine, I'll fix my balloon and go someplace where creatures don't try to kill me in waves. I hope you're happy!"
My new goal is to get research so high that it automatically fills every second so I can infinitely research everything. I am sure that this is impossible, but it's what I must do.
@AmIAwake But you have to understand, that means you've done it. You've escaped. While the rest of us, we're trapped here. Trapped in a Hellstone of our own mining! We can't get past! We can't move on!
I have gotten all achievements, seen that the Kickstarter has been met and there is no more reason for me to play. ... *leaves it on the computer and walks away, whistling*
Hmm. What happens if you open it in a different browser?
