Really love the concept here - card game meets Clash-of-Clans-style defense. The game play itself is pretty good, but as mentioned by others, a lot of improvements need to be made to energy / prices / unlocks before I could get into it: have energy as it is currently set up cap out around 20 and regen every 30 min, but also allow for a play mode with more modest rewards / exp that is unlimited.
Hi warrior28!
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, we're getting a lot of feedback that there are price and energy problems. So we're doing a more thorough research of other Kongregate games that are like this, to see and compare and adjust.
My only complaint on the equipment is that it should break at a much lower % on easy quests. Sometimes I need to farm Shiny Gems, and only have level 10-12 heroes. Using level 10 equipment on them is too costly for those quests.
I know I could just buy shiny gems cheaply on the market, but that's no fun.
Noticed that my town buildings lost some levels after kicking 2 inactive players. Is there some system where donations are returned to a player when they are kicked/leave?
Yes, city donations are connected to the player that donated. This way you can contribute and take your contributions to your new city. We don't want players to feel punished for leaving a city.
Awesome game, lots of potential here. May have stumbled onto a bug in the 2nd raid though. Browser crashed in between the goblin boss and the dragon. Got a reward from the first boss and the raid cooldown did not activate. Other times I have died on the dragon, I did have a cooldown. Not sure which result is intended, but should be consistent.
Also the scrolling mechanics (not just the units you have to scroll through) are a real pain. I end up clicking on a unit I don't want multiple times before I finally get to the far end. Edge scrolling or a page button would be appreciated.
The ability to control strike would make it way too easy to snipe low HP attack units in the back. Obviously would help against AI, but PVP vs. equal decks would become way to easy.
Controlling Mark could potentially be cool, and make it possible to take out a tough armored unit that you know will take two hits and hopefully a strike or two.
Guessing this has been addressed, but when my units finish upgrading they remain on the previous level and I have to refresh the game to see the upgraded unit.
Probably my favorite platform game since Meat Boy. Lots of options for badges: total time under X, levels completed, lightning bolts, etc. Make it happen Kong.
So I'm trying to spend 50 Kreds on 500 Terra Dollars, but whenever I get to the screen, the "buy" buttons aren't clickable. I have more than enough Kreds in my account too. Anyone else having this problem?
Also I just discovered the 300% experience button as I was considering buying the game. I know I don't have to check the box but it still just cheapens the game so much to have stuff like that. Great concept but clean it up if you want people to buy for $5.
Badges for this game is disappointing. I don't see the appeal for this, 95% of the people just read comments on how to do it- and those who don't, like myself, waste half an hour of their lives.
