I know this is a bit of a noobish question, but could you code some form of catch if someone presses the wrong button, and acts in favor or against without meaning to? Like: a warning that says, something to the effect of, you are about to act against party lines, are you sure?
I've made this mistake twice.
I love this game. When you find the best guns for your playstyle, spam the slot machine. It will take a lot of luck and money to get a good payoff, but the rewards are fun and amusing.
I got the Sheeplauncher, and homing explosive sheep make a great weapon.
Disregard the last comment. I didn't see Loch_Taigen's comment.
Another idea would be to have that information somewhere in the game, since it wasn't obvious.
Also, Stone should have other melee weapons if he is unable to purchase additional ammo. 8 Shotgun shots can do a lot, but only so much before he is weaker than if he kept the hammer.
This game could be made more understandable. Could you maybe have mouseover text on units seen before, like their action points and attack power? Strategy is easier if your units can learn from experience. Also, if you could have an "undo", or "return to spot before movement" button, play wouldn't be as frustrating. I had to restart the level multiple times when I didn't understand the action point system.
Have you ever played Fire Emblem? Looking at its mechanics could help.
Maybe could you make crouch a different button then down, so up and down are descend and ascend? My muscle memory is getting me killed.
Great game, but having the option to change controls would help players.
This game was very fun, but short. I kinda wish there was more after destroying the earth.
Favorite quote, "What was it all for? Was it worth it? Yes, yes it was."
Such a warning would get very annoying for established players. It's also intended that the game doesn't actually tell you what to act for/against.
