To get the hard badge, follow the following formula: 1) switch to 0.5x speed, 2) start at the location next to a helicopter upgrade, 3) use the helicopters to get all of the other upgrades, 4) keep the first plant producing trucks and helis at all times and buy upgrades and vehicles only when you hit your max vehicles limit [prioritize plant upgrades], 5) buy another plant and quickly upgrade it. Fuel and production upgrades increase the profitability of your vehicles, so get them. You can get extra upgrade money by breaking your previous records. Over the gold level, you get 10% of new_record - old_record. The end game favours plant and helicopter upgrades.
DO NOT PLAY VIP IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO. There is a gamebreaking bug that practically hangs the game and moves the camera away sometimes when you touch the hostage. Every single one in the party gets it when it happens. Try other maps whenever possible.
Had to quit because the second boss was laggy, cheap (hangs around at the left part where I cannot shoot it at all) and all-round shit, especially the babyshitastic control scheme.
Ugh. These game mechanics such as using stuff on people were already obsoleted in the 1990s. It felt more like work than fun to play this game. Geez, people want to PLAY a game, not read it. I would have never beaten this game without a walkthrough because it is simply bad. I mean "clicking the left side of the building takes you to a back alley while the right one takes you to the map" kind of non-designed bad.
You can take the last boss down by killing the healers once they reappear and then lightning trap+hit in its rear until it dies. Take a few mana potions just in case.
Camp near the base destroying enemies until you have full cannon upgrades and triple shot (read: to hit anything) and a couple shields. As long as you boringly babysit the base to keep it from taking heavy damage, you'll be fine. You need some engine upgrades to kill the regenerating yellow spheres. The winning formula is to farm those enemies. Once you have most of the weapon upgrades, everything will go down fast.
Ugh. "Velociraptor" = deinonychus. Michael Crichton thought he would be cooler if he used a wrong name in his book and Spielberg was aware of this, but thought the wrong name would make him more money. 'Raptor' means 'bird of prey', making the name obviously moronic. F***, 'velociraptor' was a stupid name for a land reptile in the first place.
The 16 swans achievement is pure RNG in that unless you get a top 1% bird placements, you can be happy to peak at 8 swans right before you reach a wall of sparrows or a plane you cannot avoid.
The control scheme has a strong mobile game feel to it. "The game plays itself and the player can press a button to unleash special moves." Let's face it: if it was any more complex, iPhone users could not play it. XD
An insane difficulty spike at league level 24 where the AI starts using the power and WAAAAAY stronger units than you have regardless of whether or not you have the enough might for that league level. In short, you won't be getting at 1000 fame. The game messes with you to get you buy stuff and to make your previous progress worth less and less. Also 1h minimum waits to unlock even the worst chests. This is Paywall Supreme.
