The new broom hitbox takes a bit to get used to. Also, why do giving treats inside the house give bonuses to outside? Ex: Giving a spider a fly gives me a free spin instead of a ticket. Giving the ghost a treat gave me a blue gem instead of purple.
Are the achievements no longer working? I came to try and get the badge for the elemental quest, but even if i meet the requirements (ie. collect 20 stars) it doesn't show I got it.
Interesting concept. There is a lag issue when there are too many GameObjects on the screen, I went into another window and when i came back, the ground was covered in bricks (except for my collection radius) and I could barely move. As I was cleaning up the bricks, the lag got better. Maybe handle the physics differently after the bricks hit the ground.
Confirmed badges are broken. I ran over 50 zombies and my stats stayed 43/50. I completed level 1 3 times getting 10/10 Antidotes each time and i'm stuck at 9 on the badge progress. It seems like it tracks the first attempt then never again. I will have to join the others and just skip today's kongpanion and just get one of the weekend's badges.
I have noticed that the click-spit and the auto-spit collide with each other. Which means if your clicking and happen to spit when the auto spit launches, you lose it. I would recommend turning off the collision between those 2 actors.
Loving this game, I've lost all work productivity for the day now. :) One suggestion I would have so far is an easier way to get to the needed blacksmith item. I've had a quest to make Gold Helms, then copper swords, then Cerussite swords. That's alot of shifting back and forth. Other then that, excellent so far!
I added my previous comment a little too soon, I noticed 2 more things. the first I noticed was mentioned by Artoo where buying the upgrade puts you in debt, i'll watch for this on the next patch. However, after upgrading to the next tier, and selecting higher computer parts, my Sell price stays the same. It took me a miniute to realize i needed to click on the select to have it update. Maybe have the total check the value of the dropdown every x # of ticks. Just a thought on that one
This is definitely a good start, I am enjoying this game so far and can see that it can get better. A few things I've noticed on my play through.
- The computer parts drop downs are hard to read. Maybe turn into a nice button that just expands down with your choices, the drop box takes away from the graphics on the rest of the GUI
- I like the motherboard background, but it makes the black text hard to read at times.
- I can't really tell what the bottom upgrade does, I see it increases the Level count at the bottom, but I am not able to determine what benefits it has.
- A sell all button as well as a "Completed PC" count would be a great asset to have in this game.
Overall, I am enjoying this game so far :)
@Rimacy - It seems you can only have 1 of each ship type, the afterburner is of the Engine type, i'm guessing you already have an engine equiped.
@BlahWharl - It was already stated that this is going to be a SP game by the Dev
Seems after build 8, the mining lasers do not turn off when cargo is full. I been false mining for 5 minutes until i noticed i wasn't getting anything new, lol
Found this game yesterday and I'm so addicted. I loved EVE but didn't like the MMO part and getting ambushed every 5 minutes so this game is SUPURB in my opinion! 5 stars! One thing i did notice is that the font for some of the numbers seems either blurry or cut off. When looking through the asteroids I couldn't tell if some of the numbers were a 3 or 8. same for the refinery and shop prices.
Also, a nice addition would be like a "log book" where when you visit a station, it will record the prices of what sells/buys for that station. just a thought.
BACK TO MINING!!! :-D
I love games of this style, they are fun and good time killers... buuuut I cannot stand games that wont let you progress without needing help from friends/neighbors/partners etc... that's the main reason i stopped playing a lot of FB games (and a few games here on Kong). Tell me why you need 4 friends to help you build a room? I'm content on starting it and then waiting for it to finish.
I'll probably play this until i'm forced to have / use friends to do something, then I will probably stop.
If you want a good format, Look at Backyard Monsters. Sure friends can help you build faster or gift resources, BUT you could actually play the game without needing a single friend / neighbor... just sayin' :)
I came here to get the daily badge and was expecting to play for hours, but it was nice and short and now i wont get yell at for coming to bed late, THANKS!
Just click on the quest item in the quest window. It will change the production automatically for you.
