Okay, super easy game though the stat icons offer no explanation and all, and as others have said, it's a crapshoot where the new piece you just bought might go. Everything was just kite-kite-kite. The only injects I bought were achievement related because honestly it was more annoying to get my finger up there to press the 2 key than it was to watch tv while i kited from corner to corner. Excellent graphics, ui, etc but needs some polish and some actual difficulty.
Too easy. First time that I had enough firepower to get to the boss, I killed the boss. The boss doesn't do enough damage at all :(. Plus, after you defeat the boss you should get the gold you earned. I wanted to max out all my guy's firepower so I had to go all the way to the boss and then deliberally not kill anything so that I died.
Crit/Attack upgrades are barely worth it, hehe. Level 50 with only defense upgrades and speed. I was gonna go to 100 but I couldn't take the grind =p. I kill just as fast as I did on my character that had proper attack for his level, except that bosses do take several hits (only a few seconds to kill). Immediately after taking this ss, I killed the level 40 dragon.

Backtracking is harder since the update, the character glitches against the left side of the screen.
Speed is just way too silly fast as well. 5/5 for clever fun but I wouldn't have upgraded speed as far as a I did had I thought ahead lol and i'm only in the 6k price range for speed upgrade (everything else has been 9999 for a while)
Oh, once your crit rate hits 100%, you can keep spending gold on it but of course it doesn't do anything. An idea.. either make crit upgrades cause harder crits or grey it out once it hits 100%.
When repeating a level (having already killed it on that difficulty), it would be nice if the boss was gone and you could just mindlessly farm. I run so silly fast now that the boss is dead before I can stop =p
Railguns and lasers should both shoot through everything in their path, doing less damage than they currently do, of course. They're just underpowered as single target weapons. Especially railguns because they're not even as good as sweeping as lasers.
I submitted the first occurrence as a bug report but if you click cancel, pop up boxes (in-game) don't go away and clicking okay doesn't do anything. Click-sounds still happen so the game isn't locked up, it's just bugged.
Please make spacebar not start the next level. I'm holding it to fire and sometimes I'm in the next round before I know what's up =p. Or at least make holding spacebar not start it.
Good job achieving a retro feel and still beautiful graphics.
One suggestion, add a way to skip dialog that you've already read. I spoke to the ice cream vendor and then spoke to him again only to have to spam-space through what he said the second time.
Oops :)
