Some elements of this game are highly reminiscent of Final Fantasy VII, the Bubbles and combat of course being Materia Esque, but more so is the execution of characters joining the party and some definite plot elements. But, with the fairly unique story It is overall an enjoyable game, although I would have preferred a WASD or arrow key movement system, as playing with a touchpad makes movement quirky, especially with Macs Multitouch. Also enemy HP bars would be much obliged.
