FYI guys, the damage calculation is misleading. No multiplier works on the base damage. This means 1 atk pt = +1 damage. It's useless after earlier game.
The mechanicals of this game is very well done. But the graphics, interface, and other things, not so much. Developer, if you can make a really polished version of this game(with additions stuff as well), I forsee the making of a new genre - the potential is really there. I will be very excited if that were to happen.
Beat this game on Deity 5 stars.
Strategy:
(1) Restart until first event is not ice age.
(2) Kept danger level at around 18 to 20% until late game.
(3) Only get the techs you need (you don't need worship/religion techs, the clothing techs, you don't need those strength tech either)
(4) Hunting becomes powerful during midgame. But fishing is essential for late game.
(5) Don’t lose land.
(6) The fourth building (burial place) is useless. The seventh building(the 11k building point one) is not that useful either.
(7) You will need a bit of luck with events, in particular friendly nomad, if you want 5 stars.
(8) DO NOT get the palace tech until 1 or 2 turns before you have enough building points to build it.
(9) By the time that the tier 3 techs are unlocked, you should have the all the essential tier 2 techs ready AND have 1 (preferably 2), research point on standby. This is a sign that you have a shot at beating deity.
