Thanks, I must've overlooked it. The thing is, when skipped, does it also take away the amount of diamonds needed to complete it's tasks?

Is there a way to skip the tutorial? Not only it is the annoying directive "Do this now because I tell you so!" type, it also forces you to needlessly waste valuable diamonds...
