The game is good, but the concept of energy is stupid. For that alone I'm giving the game three out of five stars. I want a game I can just sit down and play for awhile, without having to worry about using up energy. There are plenty of other games I can play without having to worry about using energy, then being forced to stop because I run out.
Cool game. But how do you get three power smashes in a single trial? As soon as I get one, the guy stops running so I can't get any more. Can you do more as you level up?
A great take on two classic games. But I agree with another noter that the last case didn't make a whole lot of sense as some of the clues were the same as if a murder had already been committed (for instance, the murder weapon and there was another, but it slips my mind at the moment). But all in all, a very fun game.
I wish people would stop whining and complaining when they find a game where they have to pay for the full version. Being a child of the 80's, I am no stranger to shareware and demo games. Also growing up with the original NES, I didn't find the difficulty bad at all. This is a great game. While I think the game and the soundtrack are worth $15, for the price I do wish it would be a little longer (or does the game continue after rescuing all five crew members?).
I also don't like timed point and click games. Especially starting us out right away and only giving us ten seconds or we lose. We don't have enough time to get acclimated to our surroundings. There's not enough time to really figure out how to get by unles you constantly start again.
Excellent game! I also had a problem where the guy wouldn't stop moving, so I played on another computer. Is there any way to fix that? But I think this is a great entry into the series. The end kind of seemed like this may be the last one. Hopefully you will continue the series. If you do, I will continue to play. :D
Great game! I'd never played one like this before. It's kind of an artistic version of Sudoku. The only real complaint I have is that it's kind of hard to differentiate between the different colors.
First of all, I just want to say how excited and glad I am to have a new entry in the Shift series. Unfortunately, I find it all but impossible to play because whenever I push a key to run, he continues running and won't stop. And I have to nearly pound the spacebar to get him to jump. I know my keys work fine because I play other games with them. Is this a glitch?
Excellent concept for a game. It is a bit reminiscent of Shift, but that's okay because I love the Shift games, too. Just one bug that I noticed, my character leaped up and off the screen on level five and I couldn't bring him back down. The only real complaint I have is that I had to restart after losing my guy on level 5 and I found that the game doesn't save your progress, so I had to do everything all over again.
Very enjoyable set of games to pass the time with. I played number two first, then one (as I found them out of order), then when I got to number three I was pleasantly surprised to find a badge waiting to be completed. :) Provided you make a fourth one, I will be happy to play it.
Indeed, a very strong first offering, and very unique, I'd say. I enjoyed playing. A couple of suggestions. As one person already stated, the inclusion of enemies would do well towards adding difficulty to the game. Also, there isn't much in the way of replay value, so I'd recommend adding in secrets or different modes, things like that. Finally, the game did seem to drag on a bit as each level was basically the same, just a different path to find. I found myself wondering when the game was actually going to end. So I'd recommend putting in some level diversity, maybe some traps and pitfalls to avoid, things like that. Especially only having the flashlight to guide you, that would up the difficulty ante a bit.
