Pay-to-play never ceases to bore me. The graphics are great. The gameplay is below average. The story is non-existent, the characters are dull and the quests are lifeless. A complex way to snag some money, but certainly not an interesting one. 2/5
Another unattractive pay-to-play. I imagine games like this are setting the stage for something much better. Once the infrastructure is already in place, larger, better, faster, prettier, more interesting strategy MMOs will come about. Pay to play is always an ugly feature and makes for an ugly game where the play is extremely unbalanced. If you want to make money, design a gorgeous game, unique among its peers and sell ad space.
Interesting. Haunting. Excellent graphics. The music was all right. The story was far too short and the puzzles were far too easy. I can't imagine (with any degree of accuracy) how long this game took to build but I would suggest keeping the next one in development a bit longer and give that story time to develop.
Great game. It gets a little tired after a bit, but it usually ends right at that point. I believe that if you were to add further options to destination choice. Or further options for your npcs, like up close or distant shots only, or allow that one might reload weapons while the others defend. Perhaps more melee weapon options as well... Oh, I don't know, the game is pretty sweet as is, maybe if it ain't broke don't fix it, eh?
Y'know? Very interesting. Like a short story. Lots of impact in a brief period. Really, very well done, definitely not a game by an stretch of the imagination, but very nice nonetheless.
I would suggest incorporating a way to upgrade your commanding unit. Perhaps a skill tree of some sort. Also, I would like to see a way to select multiple units at once and then direct them to attack specific enemies on the map. Perhaps have the long-range units available to attack the heavier enemies from further out. I think it would be nice to be able to select a section of the map from the small map on the top of the screen.
Has potential. Like many prior to me, I would suggest attacking the unbalanced battles as soon as possible. On top of that, add a bit more storyline and various character depth as well as specific weapon and armor upgrades... and I am not even certain that is possible with a flash game... Dunno... think Ogre Battle!
