I played the tutorial a few times cause I liked it, and it took me about 4 or 5 times to realize it was Pachelbel's Canon.
Which I found particularly fitting for the story.
The most amusing part of this game was when I found out I could fly out of bounds and escape the confines laid down by the game's creator.
Fly away green electric plug!
I'm sorry, but sentient beings can't be satisfied by something so simple. At least making the dots fight each other or do some actual evolving would be good. As is stands, this game has a terrible name. "Grow" or "Divide" would be a better name.
This is such a fantastic game. Not because it's very driven, but because it's very relaxed and simple. Colorful and slow paced, it's a nice break from not just other terrible games, but just a nice way to forget about things that are bothering you. Listen to the fantastic soundtrack and take a break with Minerbot!
Yes it does need work. It's rather unpolished, and the instructions are vague. ("Get" rather than "Kill".)
Taking one hour to make and having 50 levels in no way means you don't need to work on it.
