I'd like if the gems weren't reset every time you completed a new floor. This way, you're forced to buy them all every time, otherwise they're lost forever. I'm only going for my third sigil though, so if you can get more gems later on to make up for this, I'd really like to know.
It would be nice to be able to sell back an agent that we don't want. I accidentally bought one, and that put me back really far, and it's frustrating earning that money back.
What about having a "Favorite" inventory for after you redo the GUI, so that if you have a couple of loadouts, like one for combat and one for luck (forging) then you don't have to keep tabs on your single inventory?
That was a surprisingly well made game. The controls were smooth, the voice was absoutely perfect for the setting. Music fit perfectly, and wasn't overbearing. As for the puzzles, they made me think, but didn't entirely rely on having the fastest mouse or sheer luck. If you planned, you could get it right on the first try. Also, loved the ending. Kudos! 5/5
The xp screen isn't long enough, or something, because if it was a long round and a lot of weapons were used, then you can't see all of the level ups because the time limit expires before it's finished showing you.
this game is really well thought out! I only have one complaint though. The menu interface is extremely clumsy: I have to keep jumping between using my mouse and keys from both ends of my keyboard. I'd fix this by either making everything in the menus able to be done with only a mouse, or allow us to customize the keys.
But complaining aside, this is a wonderful series!
Whenever I buy a new recipe, I almost always get some different recipe in the same group. Also, I'm able to build/forge/cook things that I don't have the official recipe for, because it shows the ingredients matrix when I roll over some question marks.
It didn't save my game. Either fix the autosave, add auto save, or make it apparent where the save button is. This game is just too much to complete in one sitting.
For some reason, I'm unable to build puckle guns. Even though I put the cursor over the empty bastion, it says that I can't build it there because it's used.
I played through the game with the guide, and I must say, I am very disappointed. The game itself held no interest when I realized that the only way to proceede would to brute force the elements. The ending held no promise either. For those who completed the game without the guide, the ending was a huge letdown. The ending is hardly worth the time and sanity that was lost in figuring out all 115 combinations. Also, the hint timer could stand to be shorter. Before I found the guide, I would very often just switch to a different screen to wait for the timer to finish. The music got on my nerves, and I couldn't find the mute button. Especially the music when you combine two elements. However, this game does have its merits. Some of the combinations are entertaining, and you put time into finding all of those quotes and proverbs. In the end, the game shows promise, but needs a lot of tweaking to make it playable through to the end.
hey, Tukkun, this did you know said to me "You last lost the game -423 minutes ago." Shouldn't it be positive 423, otherwise it just told me when I was going to next lose the game.
