Er, 'gaming logic'? I don't think so. Some of these, you have literally a split-second to register what is on the screen in front of you, by which point whatever is going to happen has happened, and it's too late.
I got to the very last boss and I just can't get it. Tried different upgrade purchases and tactics. Hell, I even found the Daimyo in one click and thought that had to be it... Purchased extra health and everything... Nope.
I've played this game before and didn't get far. I've since started again and I've got a bit done. The achievements don't seem to be updating though. I've got 12 cards and it's not registering them. I've saved, quit, refreshed my browser window and it still shows my first game progress (that doesn't exist, now).
Also... I didn't know it didn't save your progress, so I've got to level 15 and ran out of fuel, going for the badge of the day... looks like I have to start over :( Gah
Well I made it to the third town in the 'chain' (north of starting place), and I was then attacked by 2 groups of bandits in a row. The first was alright. The second had 6 bandits in it... Got pasted.
I do find the fact that damage detection or something is as bit off, annoying. As others have posted, that last person holding up the castle with their head and they Still don't die...
Apart from that, and having to play each level over and over and over for gold... it's still fun.
Gergh... getting to 300 metres is bad enough when you have to make the split second decision to either press esc hard to get a solid jump or whether to tap it to slot in between spikes... but when you've got the lazer chasing you down and it's side to side spikes. This feels very, very impossible or you need a lot of luck. Still at about 300.
ChristopherN, if you get through the first 2 battles, then it'll encourage you to go to your profile. Once you do that, you'll see the sword. You can then click and drag it to your character and there, it's equipped. :)
