This game has potential, but it ends up being completely awful. The dialogue is brain destroyingly bad. The game is laggy and full of bugs. Most of the enemies can kill you with one hit from off of the screen. The level with the truck was possibly the worst thing I have ever seen. Jove's monsters this game is a huge disappointment.
I don't know if it's a language barrier issue, but it bothers me when developers respond with "yep those are problems, let me see if I can find somebody who gives a shit." Why respond to things you have no intention of fixing?
It's nice to see a developer respond to comments. It would be even better to see them address the actual problems. The game is unbalanced. The first part of every level is spent watching crappy weak enemies stroll right past all of my defenses because you don't get enough starting resources until you grind levels. The second half of every level is spent hitting enter to start a wave and then holding spacebar to speed it up while my upgraded towers destroy the same enemies wave after wave. Why should I have to hold down spacebar for a small speed increase? After you seize all of the buildings and cut all the trees there is really nothing to do, but there are still dozens of waves. I feel like they spend all of their time trying to come up with the most frustrating enemies possible instead of trying to make the game fun. I know, let's make an enemy that takes away one of your stars, and then we'll make an achievement for getting three stars. People will love it.
It's nice to see the developer responding to comments. Unfortunately none of the responses address any of the issues at all. The wait times are way too long. After playing for a couple days the wait times for quests are already up to a couple hours. Don't you know you have to hook new players before you up the waiting times if you want people to play through the bs? Instead you are just going to drive people away. I am one of those people.
I have to wonder how many people just read through the best comments and try to repeat as many words as possible. Seriously, how many of these comments have the word "nope" in them? Am I supposed to believe that all of you are spontaneously yelling nope at your computer screens, that you are noping so hard you nope your pants? Nope.
I try to upgrade a tower on wave 32 of a map and the game freezes. No speed up, the small enemies are trivial, the large ones obnoxious, the maps get ridiculous, and the upgrades are unimpressive. Done with this game. More of a yawn quit than a rage quit. 2/5
Wow! This is the best game ever. I have never seen anything like this. The lag and slow response times really make you slow down and enjoy the game. And leaving out any kind of instructions or explanation of game mechanics, brilliant! Please add more badges to this game. 1/5
OMG Dillo looks like Dildo! Did anybody else notice that? Oh, you mean to tell me there are already a bunch of comments on that and even the first top comment? Hooray for illiteracy! Morons.
Wow! So you mean to tell me that if you put an "s" in front of "hit" it spells another word. Your mothers must be so proud. You know what else if you put a c in front of rap it spells crap. Or p + oops = poops. Brilliant!
You know why this game has 7.5 million plays? Click, click, click, click...click click...click, click, click. You can get a solid minute of gameplay (if you can even call it that) at a time before you run out of energy and stamina. If you like the game good for you. I am getting the badges and never playing it again. I may not even bother with the medium badge.
These games have been going in the wrong direction. So much grinding it isn't even fun. When a walkthrough for a game consists of start a battle hit Q then 3 then Q, the gameplay is not that deep. Why should I want to play each level 31 times to master it?
Also the game is way too long. About half way through I couldn't help wondering when the game would finally be over. If it wasn't for the badge I would never have finished. The different obstacles are good, but they stop being novel when they are repeated over and over again. Here's a section where you ride on some yellow blocks followed by a section where you ride some more yellow blocks. Now there are some more yellow blocks to ride and more yellow blocks, but now there are a couple of things to jump over. Now you have to ride more yellow blocks but now there are a couple of spikes. Now there are more spikes, big spikes, thin spikes, fat spikes, spinning spikes. Also, the collision detection on the spikes is terrible. This comment, like this game, is way too long. Go ahead and hit -. I didn't write this for you. I wrote this for me. I have had more fun writing this comment than playing the game 2/5
Hey, here's an idea. How about instead of voting down all of the comments about the white line, we vote one up so it enters the top 5? I mean, it's great that fusoy beat the game in 30 minutes and all, but obviously a lot of people are experiencing the same problem. Even though it didn't happen to me, I don't think all of these people are making it up.
The update is in progress - as I mentioned before, it takes time to re--balance everything...
