What a great game! I hope that there will be a follow-up. It is seems very well balanced, although i would suggest that when you get to the final map you shouldnt have received sufficient points to invest in just about everything - in other words, the player should need to make long-term deicisons about what they invest in. My winning combination was turtle turtle golem healer goblin goblin healer goblin goblin healer managuy goblin. 5 goblins means 8 times round the track.
@kuemanner: pause game. Build 3 power generators. upgrade these as soon as they have generated enough power. Now spam gauss turrets across the width of the playing area as close as poss together. Then an accumulator (doubled) and start buildiing spaceports with bombers.
game mechanics and graphics excellent, but far far too easy. The characters level up powerfully but are still largely fighting the same creatures as on level 1, and you can stand a guy by each grate and he will automatically take down anything that comes through it. Game balance therefore needs a big overhaul. More creature variety would also enhance gameplay.
@Kamikazelegacy. Funny how many people mention that. Or the tanks. However, guns and castles have co-existed historically. Surely there are much greater mysteries here: How can a sheep headbutting a wall damage it? Or a chicken throwing eggs? Or a dragonfly flying past? And why do rats feel the need to parachute from pterodactyls? And I seem to have an inexhaustible supply of sisters! Curiously these ones dont get mentioned so much, lol!
@donutboy: you can remove mods. If you reforge a weapon, it removes the last mod added automatically. You might be better waiting for a better gun to come up though. Some guns get up to 6 mod slots, which are brilliant.
@Deedz: you'll be up with my perfect game score soon then :-) however, your score is not appearing on the Achievements tab - suggest you take it up with the admin
@gagnon1: No, fire rate is pretty useless on grav guns. It is reload that you want with these. however, you cant put a reload mod on the gun, although sometimes they come with one prefitted :-) Best things for grav guns are damage and leech. get the guy with the grav gun to develop reloading skill, and they will fire faster.
