All good things that could make this game a 99/10. Yes, a ninety-nine out of ten. Shut up and give me my "Kills by biter lure" count or it's staying a ninety-eight.
Alright, so here's how you play this game.
STRATEGY: Just keep the meteors in orbit. Manipulate them so they just cross the screen and come out on the other side, and keep them high speed so they collect most of the asteroids into one ball. Around 50 to 100 miles, toss your meteor in the air to turn it into a comet. Then smack that mother down into the planet as hard as you can.
-Some levels have really easy solutions that aren't immediately obvious. For example, Run As Fast As You Can is as simple as getting your (one) microbe up to 11, then cutting the tentacle to the neutral microbe. Do the same to the next microbe, and then capture the back two. Now, run the far three in a circuit, and don't worry about your last two. In less than 30 seconds, you should have all 3 at max power. From here, you can basically do whatever you want. -Quick Team Trick is difficult if you don't have fast clicks. Just run the back two to your main microbe, and attack the enemy with that microbe. Be quick, because you have to cut both supporting tentacles at least twice each before the microbe runs out of power from overextending itself.
A few handy little tips:
-Countering an enemies attack will not only weaken your microbe, but strengthen theirs! Don't do it unless you have support or are a much larger lifeform.
-You always start at a disadvantage to your enemy, but the AI is stupid. Use those precious seconds at the start well, when the AI is not doing anything.
-Instead of using your microbes to attack all at once, focus all the power you can into one microbe, and attack with it. You'll keep much more strength in your microbes if the focus microbe gets taken, and there's a much lower chance of that since that microbe is receiving those little yellow lights at around 3 per second.
Wait, so if the horse is duck sized, and the duck is horse sized, doesn't that mean the duck is duck sized? Or is the horse horse sized?
Better just go with "both are about Dalmatian sized".
I like the game, but it's full of flaws, and the concept is interesting, but not done well. Take a game like Void Hunters, for example. It's not quite done well either, but the fact that you can salvage parts from another vehicle and build a complex design with different weapons, armor, and tools, then go take on another until your ship is the maximum potential it could be is breathtaking. The PVP gameplay makes it even better, testing the limits of peoples ingenuity and sneakiness in their designs (like placing a gun between two armor pieces so more inaccurate weapons wouldn't have a chance). This game does it much better in that there's a limit to the amount of parts you can have on one thing, but Void Hunters is still overall a better game.
I'll still rate a 5/5, because other than gameplay, it's incredibly British. Needs a sequel, with a complete "Scavenger" experience.
@brayofden considering by the time president greenland gets around to learning about it, he's probably already dead or infected, depending on play style.
